Brownells USA Amazing Custom Touch 01/11/2014

I bought this directly from Wilson a few months back for my Dan Wesson. Like with most 1911 magazine catches, you have to fit it or get it fitted, so your magazines don't get hung up. The piece is amazing. The finish and overall quality are top notch. They essentially reversed the checkering on the catch, so rather than a raised checkering, it's embossed into the catch. It's very low profile and has beveled edges. I was amazed at how small it appeared on my pistol. The part was slightly oversized for my Dan Wesson, but I had a local smith install it. This piece is perfect for concealed carry, especially IWB holsters. I recommend it more for the commander size and compact pistols because it's such a compact piece that it almost looks too small for a full size 1911. Yet another beautiful piece from Wilson Combat.
