NOPE! 21/03/2018
Follower is cheap and extremely sloppy in mag. Had enough movement that it wouldn't trip the slide lock on the last round. Contacted Wilson Combat and told them that both mags wouldn't function correctly and after several information exchanges, they decided my $2000 competition 1911 was to blame. I fixed the problem myself with a screwdriver. Definitely not worth the $38 per mag that I thought would garrantee me a quality piece.
I love Brownells but i'm no longer a fan of Wilson Combat.

one of the best 24/12/2017
I own 4 of these, have been using Wilson Combat mags in my 38 super Colts for years. I was a bit sad to see Wilson stop production of the 47's, but this new design seems to be as equally well constructed and durable as the old mags. Unlike the previous review, I have put hundreds of rounds through each of these magazines (with both factory loads and my handloads) without a single malfunction I could attribute to the magazine. I've spent the past month experimenting with recoil springs and I have been surprised to see how well this continue to function with a light load and light spring tension. The magazine is sturdy and the follower works well without any undue wear thus far. I think it was a mistake to try to cram another round in the mags, but they didn't ask me. Anyway, these are great mags, I use them in a stock Colt Commander, an old Les Bauer comp'ed pin gun, and a Ted Yost custom commander, I'd recommend them above all other mags and I've tried them all.

Mag Breaks 15/09/2016
Bought this mag for use in my Kimber, the mag follower broke the second time I used the mag.
