Great mags from Magpul(24/09/2011)
These seem to be very good magazines. They fit and feed well so far, and are very well constructed. The 10 pac is a great way to stock up as well. Thanks to Magpul and Brownells for another great product. I would give these mags 5 stars but haven't used them enough to see how well the springs last, but are definitely the best for the price.

Great Product from an Excellent Business(06/03/2013)
I placed an order for a ten-pack of these PMAG's back around Christmas 2012. I received them about a week ago because they were on backorder. I tested out each magazine at the range, and all of them worked flawlessly. I would like to thank the people at Brownell's for honoring my order at the listed price before the Great Frenzy of 2013 and completing it instead of cancelling it. You've earned my respect and future business.
I would buy more if available(12/03/2013)
I was able to get in on the backorder for these and can say it was worth the 74 day wait. I have used Pmags for a few years and can say they are one of the best AR mags made
Great value pack(02/04/2013)
I love the ten pack of pmags. Great value, nice having lots of mags so i don't have to spend a lot of time reloading at the range.

Amazing Customer Service!(04/03/2016)
I bought the 10 pack of these mags when they were on sale, but for some reason I was charged retail price when they shipped. I emailed brownells that evening an told them what had happened to see if they would correct it. When I heard back from customer service the next morning they refunded me the difference, no arguments, no hassle, and fast! Also, my order was delivered at my house in 2 days! Selection, service, and satisfaction is their motto but they're also words they live by. If I ever need parts or accessories for my firearms I will always check here first. Thank you again, Lexi.
Great deal (19/10/2016)
Excellent. Great price free shipping. Will be ordering more in a few pay checks. No One ever said I have too many magazines.
Best mags ever!(22/11/2016)
As a SWAT commander... I bet my life on them!!! Work first time, every time and they are loaded all the time with 30 rounds.
GREAT VALUE & Great Product(19/02/2017)
I have 16 of the 30 round and 4 of the 40 round magazines. I have never experienced a misfeed from any of them. Works every time. I don't know long the springs will last but after a year I have not an issue and I keep them loaded all the time.
stock up now, top notch(09/03/2018)
i like them a lot and use them often. thirty rounds and forty rounds. highly recommended 100%. Remember to buy a Lula .223 magazine loader!
Great(18/06/2009)
Picked up a dozen last fall and have used them quite a bit. Fit and function has been great so far. The textured outside compliments my rifles well and provides a nice grip, esp. in winter without freezing the fingers when holding them. I doubt I will ever buy any more aluminum mags if these keep holding up well. I give four stars only because I find the magazine cap is tough to get off with gloves on. Great product overall!
Great mags(05/07/2009)
Theese mags are the best thing since sliced bread. I would buy them again and I recomend them for duty use with my agencys range master.
best mags out there(03/08/2009)
best ar mags i've ever used, period. strong, reliable. fit, finish and function is 100%. can take abuse no alluminum mag could ever take.
Great Mags(04/09/2009)
Best ar15 mag made hands down.
OUTSTANDING(05/09/2009)
I have used these mags in the rain and I am able to grip them well without gloves. I also like the solid feel when loading rounds. No more metal mags for me.
Mag-pul, as usual(09/09/2009)
These mags are great. They are the new industry standard. No one has caught up to them yet!!!
Top Notch Mags(12/09/2009)
I keep two mags loaded and find that the lips on these will not deform when kept loaded. The feel is good even when wet or when wearing gloves.
Cycles great(13/09/2009)
This magazine is the best I have used. It even improves cycle time.
OUtstanding(20/09/2009)
Gtreat feeding. No jams. Surprisingly heavy and sturdy for a plastic mag
All I will buy from now on(28/09/2009)
I'm an LEO and these are all I use at work. I stopped buying metal mags after I got my hands on PMAGS. I won't buy anything other than them except for an exceptionally good deal and even then, they will be used for practice/plinking while the PMAGS are used for duty. I also saw one that was in a gun that fired out of battery. The mag went into it's individual pieces and was able to be put back together again. I'm not sure you could do that with a metal mag...
Best Mags Ever(01/10/2009)
These mags have been thrown around, drove over, etc and still work. Can't beat the quality. Best of all, you can load 30 rounds and load it in your AR with the bolt closed. Most other mags, not so easy.
The Best out there(15/01/2010)
These are the best Mags anywhere, I have been using them right when they came out, Now have about 20 or so. All my Metal mags are gone, I do have 2 HK Mags that I did keep but they are no better than the PMag. Now the Emag is out just as good but might look a bit nicer.
Best AR Magazines. Period.(03/02/2010)
Magpul PMAGs are hands-down the best AR magazines on the market. They are super tough, durable, well made, easy to load and easier to seat when fully loaded on a closed bolt than metal mags. Don't listen to people who say, "But they're made of plastic!" Yes, they are plastic, and yes, they work.
Great Product!(19/03/2010)
I have used several different types of mags in several different rifles and the PMAG is my favorite by far. They are durable, easy to load, and have a great design. Excellent price too!
Good, not perfect(24/03/2010)
The PMAG is great at storing full mags, the follower is always level. The weight is good and the cost is marginal. Where it comes into question is the fit in many AR's. It's TIGHT! You have to manually pull the PMAG out, adding time to combat reloads! Good mag, but far from perfect.
Best mag I have(22/04/2010)
I shoot a lot and the pmag works great in both ARs (RRA and Stag), drops free, loads good, will use them now insted of the old GI mags I have in the past. Good price and the best quality bar none
best made(01/05/2010)
p-mags are the best magazines made for the ar-15 in my opinion, they can take alot of abuse and keep on working, you can load them up and leave them loaded and don't have to worry about spring set. they are easy to disassemble and reassemble. and if you are shooting steel cased ammo p-mags are the way to go. never had any jams or ftf when using p-mags and steel case ammo, thats not the case when using aluminum or steel magazines, think about it steel on steel with no lube. and as for my humble opinion, it's hard to to be humble when you're one of the world's finest.semper fi!!!!!!!!!! thanks brownells
The best thing since sliced bread.(07/05/2010)
These things work great. You're not going to have any misfeeds due to a tilted follower and if it gets dirty you can take it apart easily without the use of any tools so you can clean it. If you drop it, it won't bend. It also comes with a handy dust cover, so you can store your mags right-side-up in your pouch without worrying about getting dirt in them.
Very Nice!(01/08/2010)
Very solid, and smooth feeding. I fed a Vietnam Era M16 on full auto with my PMAG and it fed flawlessly. Buy one to try, and I gaurantee you'll will want to buy more.
Ok Magazine but Still Plastic Feed Lips(13/10/2010)
Overall I find surprising how many people will praise this magazine and have little to know tactical experience in the field with these. Basically Imagine this, you pull your magazine out and drop it, the rounds pop out on the ground. This happed to Plastic Feed lip magazines. Plus anytime you have to worry about feed lip spreading while in storage I say Beware. If you are using these for target shooting or hunting I see no problem, but if its for [*] tactical use, this I suggest sticking with D&H Mags with Magpul Followers. The problem is simple, in tactical situations where you need the magazine loaded and ready in your vest, and if you use the feed lip cover you risk your mags not being ready, if you dont they lips can spread causing malfuctions etc. You dont have this issue with Metal Mags.I suggest if you need plastic go with the L5 they have Metal Lips and are smoke so you can see the rounds and have metal lips, though personally I would not trust my life to plast magazines. Even the mighty Beta Magazine malfuctions like crazy.
Love it!(17/11/2010)
I have 3 of these that came with my AR. I like the feel better then metal and its easy to open up if I want to clean it. you can also put the cover on a loaded clip to take the pressure off the mag. I have shot a few thousand rounds with no problems so far.
Great Tactical use Mag(20/11/2010)
Anyone who says these Mags are not meant for full tactical use and claims to be an operator is absolutely full of it.
The feed is absolutely flawless, I have dropped these in sand, silt, water, and mud. there is no other mag that comes close to the reliability. Anyone who says its great for the price is buying other mags at weird places. You should not be paying anymore for a magazine in the first place.
I own 10 of these and they are so well priced and easy to maintain. Within 15 seconds you can have the magazine completely apart to clean underneath the spring.
All metal feedlips will bend if you store them loaded over time. The caps help keep that stress off the feed lip. If you know you will need them then leave the caps off. That will not ruin the feedlips if you leave the caps off for weeks. The polymer allows it to revert back to its shape if it is ever pushed out of shape. Metal will hold the new shape. Another reason why polymer is better.
There is no reason why you should not have these for your home defense gun or your duty rifle in your patrol car.
Super PMAG(21/01/2011)
I am so impressed with this magazine . It feeds everytime and drops free for quick reloads. Most impressive is the one I left loaded for over 2 years on my ready rack, fully loaded, I popped the cover and it ran like I just loaded it, Thats a good magazine.
Simply the best!(13/03/2011)
I'm relatively new to the AR-15, but I do know an excellent product when I see and use one. I initially purchased a Brownells 10-pack of standard AR magazines to go with my new Colt LE6920. They are very good magazines, well worth the money.
However, I recently purchased 6 Magpul PMags, and started using them when doing drills and plinking at the range. The difference is night and day. With the standard AR magazine, you can still tilt the follower, even with new anti-tilt followers installed. With the PMags, follower tilt is next to impossible. Additionally, the magazine body itself is tough as nails, no need to worry about bending feed lips if you drop it.
The whole magazine is plain better than standard AR mags. I intend to only purchase PMags from here on out, they're just that good.
King of the Hill(23/03/2011)
This is hands down the most reliable magazine on the market for the AR platform. You cannot go wrong with these mags.
Love em!(27/04/2011)
These magazines, as far as I am concerned, are the best on the market. I own a couple dozen or them. Self lubricating, they slip right into the magazine well and the with a push of the release they drop right out. The thirty round too long for shooting over the bench? Get the twenty rounders. The anti-tilt followers are more than just a plus, quite functional. They weather great and with the dust covers they easily store charged. Price is right also. No sharp edges to cut or mar the gun.
Best AR Mag(11/08/2011)
The best magazines available for the AR15 no matter which one you pick. They insert easily and drop just as easily.
Excellent Mag(21/10/2011)
This is the best mag I have come across. Magpul's quality is second to none.
The plastic shell is much tougher and durable than most of the AR magazines I have used. Just by handling it you can tell it is very well made. The follower is fantastic too. Very smooth and if you press at any point it depresses equally, as opposed to cheaper models, thus reducing a chance for misfire.
I've added 12 of these to my collection. Made even better with Ranger plates.
Great product from Magpul(27/01/2012)
One of these magazines came with my AR-15, and I love it. I have tried multiple magazines trying to find the perfect one, and I just keep going back to the PMAG. Works awesome, never had a single jam caused by a bad magazine using these mags.
Great mags!(03/03/2012)
Perfect fit and function. They're super tough, too!
No malfunctions(04/03/2012)
I use mine regularly for weekend target shooting. One year and no malfunctions in this time. Good quality product.
30-Round PMAG(16/04/2012)
Simply the best, these load easy and are a TON lighter than the OEM ones. They load so easy in fact these just let you snap the ammo in, no more fighting the mag and brass. I own several and have had no isues in my Windam AR15. If only they made these for my collection of 1911's I would be doing backflips, throw that on You Tube and you would be in pain from laughter.
excellent quality(20/09/2012)
This is the highest quality polymer mag I have ever seen. I will have no gun item that I cannot bet my life on and this meets that criteria.
Nice alternative to Aluminum(05/10/2012)
A decent alternative to Aluminum, but not perfect. It's light and affordable, but the plastic is just too brittle. It seems this product is susceptible to breaking, splitting, or shattering, if dropped from a certain height onto a hard surface. The surface of the magazine should contain some sort of rubber gripping surface, as the surface is very smooth, and could slip from one's grasp. Could possibly use some sort of hard-rubber in its construction, to help with its durability. However, it's very well designed ergonomically, has a nice appearance, and slips into a chest rig very well. Would recommend as an alternative to aluminum.
great mag(08/04/2013)
I use these mags in the army all the time. i was the first one at my unit to use these, now the whole company uses them.
Great Mags(21/08/2013)
Been using the P-Mags since they first came out. have been using them everysince and get 10 whenever I can find them for prices like this.
Unbeatable deal(02/10/2013)
I love pmags and at this price, they are a steal. Only thing is doesn't come with dust cover, which is no big deal.
Brownell's once again shows why they are the best.
Back For More(15/10/2013)
PMAGs work. Bottom line. Great price too. One drawback. Sometimes they can be a tad tight. I remedy by lightly sanding with 220 then 600 grit.
The ability to completely take them apart to clean is a big pro for me.
Will not score brass like steel & some aluminum mags.
Great Product(21/10/2013)
Lives up to there name. Will buy from again.
Great Mag...bye bye mil spec!(10/10/2014)
Great replacement mag! Light weight, durable and quality construction. I just ordered a 10 pack so I can start replacing my metal mil spec mags. I use these in 5.56 and 7.62 and highly recommend them for all types of shooting.
Still my Favorite Mag!(11/02/2015)
I still prefer the Gen 2 due to being able to place the cover on the bottom of the mag while shooting. I tend to lose my covers on my pmag Gen 3's.
PMAG GEN 2(17/11/2015)
Best polymer magazines on the market in my opinion! never have had any problems with a 30 round 2nd gen PMAG! Personally like them better then 3rd gen!!!
Vastly Superior to GI(16/03/2016)
I only have two nitpicks about the Gen 2. One is that, like most of its kind, it will allow a round to pop out if it's hit or dropped too hard near its base, since the vibrations travel through both the spring and the polymer frame and can dislodge or release the top cartridge from its feed lip (something that has been corrected in the Gen 3). The other is that its wide base plate has a pronounced ledge that can crowd the mags in a typical chest rig, producing a little more "knocking" than might normally be expected (this, too, has been addressed in the Gen 3). Apart from this, it's cheap, it's light, it's tough, it loads and ejects smoothly, the aforementioned ledge makes it a cinch to pull from a carrier, and, above all, it feeds flawlessly. There's a reason these things are the standard.
