Mfr Part: PMBP-01 Drop in magazine extension allows you to increase the capacity of both 5.56 and 7.62 PMAGS. The 5.56 extension adds 5 rounds to 30 round PMAGS and 6 rounds to 40 round magazines. Extensions for 7.62 PMAGS add 6 rounds to both the 20 and 25 round magazines. Machined from a single piece of aluminum, extensions utilize the factory magazine spring and require no special tools for installation. Extension’s extra weight also ensures the magazine drops free of the rifle for quicker reloads during competition shooting or tactical situations.
