Brownells USA Holds Fal Barrels securely 15/09/2014

I have owned my Brownells barrel vise for about 15 years now and have built and rebarreled many rifles using it

This Fal Bushing is one of the 5 I have and it has fit my standard Fal barrels like a glove. I have used it on about a dozen builds and it has held every one securely. Overall a well made product that does its job very well

If you have a Fal to build or rebarrel this is the bushing to use to hold the barrel while tightening or loosening it

I would recomend applying some type of rosin to aid in gripping extremely tight barrels although I have never needed it myself with this particular bushing

Brownells USA Fits Mauser 98 barrels 15/09/2014

This is another of the bushing I have for my Brownells barrel vise and this one fits the Mauser 98 barrels quite well

I did have to apply rosin to this bushing to get one particularly tight barrel out but that one was exessivley tight

The nominal ID of this bushing is .948 but more importantly it is made to fit the Mauser Barrel profile

Overall a handy bushing to have if you plan on rebarreling any Mauser actions!
