Great spring(07/10/2009)
I bought this spring to replace the HUGE one in an original Beretta 20-round magazine. It works great and the magazine is MUCH easier to load. I haven't tried it in the 15-round mag, but wouldn't expect any problems.
Definitely stiffer(05/01/2017)
Replaced the springs in my 3 mags, two factory all metal, one promag, all 15-round capacity. These were much longer and stiffer than originals. So stiff they actually caused feed problems. Probably great in 20 round mags, maybe even 17. Nice springs but would not recommend for 15-round mags.
Solved my problem(10/07/2017)
I was experiencing issues with last round slide locking. The slide did not always lock open after the last round on my Mod 92S made in 1983 on the original two magazines. The new Beretta magazines worked flawlessly so I suspected mag issue. Disassembled old and new and springs in the old were shorter. Stretched the springs and solved the issue temporarily. I ordered these springs and they were considerably longer than any of the springs (they are +10% after all). Reassembled the mags and have had flawless performance since. Solved my problems with my 15 round vintage magazines.
