With the increasing use of roll pins in guns, we've been looking for a good assortment of them in black steel finish to offer. Finally found it - with 850 pins in 8 diameters and various lengths (see below). Should take care of most gun needs! Great for other shop jobs too. Make jigs, fixtures, or use to replace taper pins, dowels, groove pins, set screws, etc. Will not slip or vibrate out. Easy to use, as require no threading or taping. Can be cut to any length; can be blued or plated. Use the Roll Pin Punches for positive, safe removal.

Very Useful Pin! (09/04/2010)

I used this product to replace a broken rear sight retaining pin to a Dan Wesson Arms. Model VH-744 Target Revolver. It works great when re-adjustmenting the rear sight's elevation, black is the right color for it(it matches the sight & frame)! Needs to be shorten a little with a saw and file or, a powerd rotory tool with cutting/grinding disk.

Good pin, was a very tight fit in my Brownells roll pin holder. Fit my AR-15 very nicely. I knew that if I ordered the 48 pc refill pack, that even if I did mess up one or two, I'd still get the job done.

Box could use more compartments. Not fan of mixing lengths, but overall very useful.

I keep this in my shop all of the time. Roll pins cand be damaged when you remove them. The roll pin kit can save your bacon.

Less than satisfied (01/04/2015)

First time less than satisfied with a Brownells product. The purpose of the kit is to organize,two and three sizes of tiny pins in one compartment? Big pins won't all fit in compartment. Handy but didn't solve my problem.
