Not impressed(14/06/2014)
Installed in varmint build, never used geissele triggers but heard very good things. After install I was left very disappointed. Do not know if this is a factory oops or what but this trigger has fair amount of creep, and blew way over 1.2lb second stage pull weight. To be honest this is no better than my RRA N/M triggers, but costs a lot more. Had several of my shooting buddy's try and all were very unimpressed. Called geissele and got no where, really not what expected all around.
Fantastic trigger(09/07/2014)
The previous reviewer seems to have thought this was a single-stage trigger; that's the only reason I can think of someone would confuse first-stage take-up with "creep".
This is as advertised....a lightened version of the original G2S. Or rather, a less-expensive SSA-E.
Definitely a sound investment, although it will ruin you with other triggers. Buyer beware! :D
freaking awesome trigger!! (06/12/2014)
So i bought this trigger to replace my stock mil spec trigger for my custom ar15 and the trigger is sweet!! My uses for this trigger for target shooting at the range. I tested out other triggers like CMC, elf, and timney triggers and this is hands down the best trigger. the trigger pull weight breaks just as advertised. The second stage breaks very crisp no mushy creep, candy cane like break. And the price, it cant get any better then that. Take advantage of the price before it goes up or discontinue this exclusive trigger. I have no complaint on this trigger. I have definitely recommended this trigger to many of friends.
Improved to the power of 10.(10/12/2014)
All I can say is this trigger is awesome. I installed it in my Armalite AR-10 then tested it. A little light slack and then just a bit more pressure and it trips at 3.2 on my RCBS Trigger Scale 5 out of 5 times. I can't wait to hit the range.
unreal...(14/12/2014)
First off being it's the holiday season it was delivered very quickly. It took me about 20 minutes to install and this trigger just amazed me. The take up (1st stage) is short and smooth and the break (2nd stage) is light and crisp. I love this trigger...
Spend a few extra dollars.(27/01/2015)
This trigger is much better than the RRA & LMT 2 stage triggers, I even like it more than my Knights 2 stage, but it does not compare to the Geissele SSA. I figured I would save a few bucks and buy this instead of the SSE, that was a mistake. Trigger is no were near as smooth as my Geissele SSA & S3GD. It also breaks a bit heavier than my SSA. Spend a few extra bucks and get either an SSA or SSE.
Geissele Trigger...(28/02/2015)
I bought this trigger and the rapid fire. For my taste, I like the rapid fire better. This trigger is better suited for DMR or hunting. I'm not taking anything away from it. It's still a good trigger, just not a fast tactical trigger. Installed it in a DDM4v5 LW.
great price great trigger(30/03/2015)
I cant tell the difference between the ssa-e and this trigger. Breaks crisp and consistent every time U wont be disappointed with this product or any geissele products. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars cause it didnt come with the slave pin for the install
Champagne Performance with a Beer Budget(15/05/2015)
Great trigger, smooth and crisp, breaks at a measured 3.5lb. Could not tell a difference between this trigger and the SSA-E.
On both of them the Sear surfaces are cut via a EDM. This provides a very smooth and durable surface.
On Geissele triggers you can see that he has reduce the size and mass his triggers. This allows the trigger hammer to respond faster, but requires Magnetic Particle (MP) testing of each trigger to ensure quality.
With this model Geissele dose not MP test each of the triggers, so the designed of the hammer has a bit additional material to compensate for reduced MP testing thus reducing cost.
The big difference is how the hammer pin is secured. It secured by a keeper at the side of the hammer. By doing this it eliminates the hole down the middle that holds the spring that hold the hammer pin. By eliminating this hole it adds strength to the hammer, and allows to reduce the MP testing to a batch method instead of all of them.
This makes the hammer is a little harder to install, and reduces performance a very slight amount since the hammer is tad bit heaver that the SSA-E. Comparing two rifles with a SSA-E and another with G2S-E, you can not tell a difference.
Excellent (06/06/2015)
Good bang for the buck(25/11/2015)
Bought this trigger for a budget MK12 SPR build. I already own a couple SSA and SSA-E triggers so I figured I'd give this one a try.
Out of the box, it looks pretty good until very close inspection. There was some flashing on the disconnector, the springs aren't coated and there are no anti-slip dimples on the hammer/trigger pins like on my more expensive SSA/SSA-E versions. I guess they have to save $ one way. Not that these things affect the performance.
Once installed, I did notice the trigger felt a tad bit gritty. I worked the trigger a bit and it seems to have smoothen things out for the most part. I suspect it would get a lot smoother once I run a few rounds through it.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the trigger and the minor differences between this model and the more expensive SSA-E one is worth the savings.
I did not give this 5 stars because of the initial gritty feel, even though it was very very minor.
Fantastic Replacement Trigger(13/01/2016)
Installed three of these for a competition rifle team that we (small gun shop) help sponsor. Superior design, coating, fit and finish. The install was a snap. Very little fitting required for a precise crisp even take up and break. Good stuff! My shooting team LOVES them!
Very worthwhile and easy upgrade.(18/03/2016)
Light first stage brings you to a short second stage that breaks like glass. Infinitely better than the gritty, creepy, heavy mil-spec triggers. An easy way to tighten up your groups. A must have for a precision rifle build. I highly recommend it.
Do they even test these?(16/09/2016)
Installed as per instructions(straight forward). Wound up with a terrible trigger pull. Sticky .020 creep (5lbs) before break. Thought I would have to take a step back to finish travel of pull. Wonder if the manufacture even puts these on a test block and tests them. In a pinch, so put stock trigger in I had from another install of a "real" inhanced trigger, and was better than this one, and cost a lot less. Had to eat return shipping and shipping on a different trigger replacement.
NEEDS ANTI-WALK PINS(02/10/2016)
NEEDS ANTI WALK PINS FOR THE PIN HOLDING THE HAMMER. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE STOCK WIRE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HAMMER TO HOLD PIN IN. WORKS GREAT AFTER THAT.
Great Trigger(26/03/2017)
This is an awesome trigger I dont understand why people are rating it low. Installation was simple.
Nice trigger, quality needs work(12/07/2017)
So I bought the trigger because I heard the enhanced version was just like the regular version, but with a lighter 2nd stage. I tried out an SSA-E installed at my local gun shop and thought it felt great so decided to go with this for a little less money.
Well I don't know if they just have lower quality standards on the cheaper trigger, but when I went to install it, the trigger went in fine.. maybe a tiny bit loose, but the hammer I could not get the pin through. Pulled it out and tried to put the pin through on the bench and still it would jam. Tried so hard I bent the pin. Luckily the pin is the standard size and later I was able to use my old pin to install it. I had to drill out the hole to get the pin to go in and even then I had to hammer on it a decent amount. These pins should just snap into place. They were easy to install on my $10 mil-spec trigger so dunno why so hard on the $150 match trigger. It's really hard metal too so the drill just kind burned and ground against it rather than really cutting very well. I dunno if the hard coating was too thick or they just didn't get the diameter exactly right, but it was definitely not right.
Anyways after getting it installed it seems solid and the trigger pull is really smooth and light. Almost too light. I wouldn't say the 2nd stage is glass or candy breaking because it's just so light it feels like nothing really. The 2nd stage definitely makes me feel safer as a single stage this light I could see going off if the wind blew on it. I am thinking the regular non enhanced version for $20 less when on sale would have been just as good. Other than the slight hick up with install I am pretty happy with it.
Much better(01/10/2017)
Installed on a Savage MSR10 with a stock Blackhawk Blaze trigger single stage that pulled 7 lbs on my gage.
Installation was straight forward like installing a mil-spec trigger.
The trigger is now much improved now with a nice clean break at 4 lbs.
Concerning the packaging, don't expect the commercial blister pack filled with swag. It was placed in a zip-lock bag and a sheet of oil impregnated paper inside. The paper instructions were then stapled to the bag. Oh well, I bought a trigger not stickers and zipper pulls.
The Best On A Budget(03/03/2018)
I bought this trigger for a custom budget build; I spent money where I had to, and saved where it mattered less. I considered going even cheaper on the trigger, but I decided I had to have a Geissele. Installing it was as simple as the mil-spec trigger it replaced, though the hammer retention clip did take just a little extra convincing to accept the pin. With just a few dry pulls, I have experienced the following differences from the original trigger: the creep is gone, the grit is gone, and the 2-stage pull and reset are both very tactile and very crisp. It breaks as clean as a full-price Geiselle, which makes it a very budget-friendly trigger.
Ok, but(02/05/2018)
This trigger is not made with the same level of accurate machining process as the other Geissele triggers, not sure Iâd buy it again. Even with the clip for the pin the trigger pin walks to the left, the hammer ends up,slightly off center to the left. Itâs almost like the hole in the trigger isnât exactly drilled perpendicular, not sure. I used this on an Aero 308 reiciever and didnât have to do any mods or grinding to the trigger for proper function in the LR .308 as the instructions say to do, it worked ok. Issue wasnât with the Aero receiver, I have several and they are all high quality, accurate machining.
Trigger pull is ok, first stage is gritty, second stage crisp break. I like Geissele triggers, but next time Iâll buy one of their better ones. This is way over priced for what it is.
Perfect!(16/05/2014)
What a difference! Very smooth operation and nice pull! This is twice the quality of the original trigger assembly. At first I thought it was more expensive than it was worth, but after I shot a few rounds this product was well worth the investment.
worth the price(02/06/2014)
If you looking for a upgrade in your ar15 trigger then you found the right trigger it's a light trigger very short travel and reset over all I think it's priced right note this is a very short pull so have to be careful. I was able to shoot better then some people that uses those stocks that help u bump fire hope this helps
7 shot one hole group with 69 SMKs(03/06/2014)
Installed in a Windham SRC with Burris AR-332 scope. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Not knocking the WW standard trigger, but it IS a standard trigger. No creep, light crisp break. Stayed with teh installed 4.5lb spring. Suggest downloading the installation guide for the G2S trigger from Geissele site, it more clearly illustrates installation of the hammer retainer springs. Steps 1-11 are the same for both models, step 12 doesn't apply here.
We Have Two, and Ordering a Third(07/10/2014)
We've installed and fired two of these, one in a DPMS, and the other in a Windham HBC. In both weapons we find the trigger exceptional.
TaKe-up is zip, and we find the pull very much to our liking; meaning crisp, light, and surprise when it fires. Those are characteristics of a great (IMHO) tactical trigger. We also find it to be very controllable. The truth is you will have to work with it awhile to get the feel in order to maximize it's potential. "Awhile" means like 3-4 magazines. Once a person gets the hang of all of its benefits - He willl never have to wonder if he has "enough gun." The fun factor cannot be
calculated. Strongest thing I know to say is we are ordering our third one today, as this review is done. Assuredly, there have been other times in my life when I would have loved to have this trigger!
If you can harness your adrenaline under extreme pressure, Go for it. By the way, I am retired from the classification LE/Mil
Not as Well Made as Wilson Combat TTU3G!(13/12/2014)
Only shot 40 rounds with it installed on my PWS Mark 114 gas piston AR Rifle and it Was a Bit of a disapointment Even with the 3.2 pound spring installed :( Its Wasnt as Fast as My Wilson Combat TTU3Gun trigger on tripple and double tap shots and Didnt feel as controllable either! I Didnt get a change to do a mag dump with this trigger, cuz the HK Steel maritime mags kept causing misfeeds every 12th round on the 2 mags I had !!! :( Im Gonna Just Stick W/ My Wilson Combat TTU3Gun trigger :) Cuz its Built Like a Tank and Works Better Than One in Combat as Well !!! Peace~
Gave it Another Try !!! :)(16/12/2014)
I Unfairly Reviewed this trigger a few days ago and compared it to my Wilson Combat TTU3Gun trigger which I still Feel is a Slightly Better trigger but costs substantially More so It SHOULD Be Better!!! But My Dad who is a 20 yr Army veteran installed this trigger the 1st time and He told me Brownells didnt include pins that were compatible w/ my PWS Mark 114 lower so He had to use the pins that were already installed in the lower and thats why when I fired 40 rounds of my rifle on Dec-13th -14 and thats what caused the pins to start walking out of the trigger cuz the silver circular attachment rings did Not fit my rifle,I spoke to a Brownells Gun Tech and He told me a Good gunsmith can install aftermarket pin hole rings that Would fit my PWS Perfectly so Im Awaiting installation on my PWS Mark 114 rifle which is Brand new and Already suffering from a Failure to feed Issue and Its already on its Way for repair back to manufacture for repair or replacement!!! Lol, Dont anybody Make anything right these days? :(
Great for pistol/SBR build(06/02/2015)
I bought the B-GRF trigger on a whim... its not one you'll find in any catalog other than Brownells. I was building a 300 AAC Blackout pistol and needed a good single-stage trigger. Installation was like any other Geissele trigger except this one came with two hammer springs. I tried them both and currently using the lighter 3.2# spring. Absolutely no creep... none. I didn't find the reset to be exceptionally short but it is positive. If you're building a pistol or SBR and want a crisp, single-stage trigger without breaking the bank then look no further.
Application Specific(26/02/2015)
As you read the descriptions, watch the youtubes, listen to friends, all the while wondering what trigger best fits my needs. It's impossible without accurate and fair descriptions. For instance, what does the trigger break like? For fast paced competition or tactical uses you'll never notice creep. You'll feel a nice, light, crisp trigger with a fantastical reset. HOWEVER, if you're sitting behind glass, even at 1x,,, and you start taking up the slack you'll reach a point where it moves into actual creep. And for a long range tactical rifle, especially if you're used to Jewell triggers, this much creep is unacceptable! It's not a dirty creep, but it's definite creep that lasts about 3/32's of pull. I bought and build two lowers with this trigger, but felt identical to each other. My AR with a JP trigger breaks more clean by half. So there you go. Did I receive two defective triggers? I doubt it.
Quality seems very high, install was smooth enough but make sure you have towels around to catch those little springs just in case.
Weight. With the Lyman gauge 5.1-5.8 with a straight back pull, not bad for an AR trigger but unacceptable for a bolt gun trigger. Let the application set your expectations. Using my steel weight pull gauge with a long roller guide 5 1/4 to 5 1/2.
Fine triggers but I have a hard time with the price.
This is a light and super fast trigger. (28/02/2015)
My first Geissele trigger. I installed this on my SBR and can't wait to actually shoot it. This trigger has a very short pull and very short reset. I will definitely buy one for my 3 gun build.
Fantastic Trigger(28/03/2015)
Installed in a Barnes Precision Machine CQB Carbine (5.56mm). Easy installation, crisp function, super short reset, and I can run it so fast there is a stream of (expensive) brass in the air. Best money I've spent for such a big improvement over mil-spec.
Amazing(11/05/2015)
The rapid fire trigger is amazing. It shoots faster than I can, the reset is scary minuscule and the pull is equivalent to a G2S or better. I put this trigger in a 762x39 AR build and I am more than pleased. I do not recommend this trigger for LE. I will be buying the G2S enhanced version for a SPR build.
I really do not know why people have problems with Geissele triggers. They tend to blame the trigger, but it could be a number of factors un-related to the trigger (out of spec lower, installation error, etc) so take those reviews with a grain of salt. I have 5 Geissele triggers (SD-C, SD-E, G-RF, G2S, DMR) I have had zero problems out of any of them. Thank you Brownells for adding these triggers!
Best Upgrade For Your Rifle Ever!(22/02/2016)
I bought the BG-RF (Rapid Fire) Wow! Just Wow! I hate my Mil-Spec Triggers now, there garbage when put up against this trigger.
Worth Every Penny, I got it for $149.99 on Brownells I feel like I like stole it from them at gun point at that price. Its a fun, reliable & safe trigger!
your finger should only be on the trigger when your ready to fire, that's why we have trigger guards and numerous other spots to rest one's till it's time to shoot. I do agree that if one were approaching Condition Black this is an extremely light & short pull, again all the more reason for trigger finger discipline and training, training, and training.
worth it at $200 or $225, I will be buying more!

This trigger is Fast(06/03/2016)
This trigger is definitely a high quality product. Personally, at $180 it's hard to justify since SSA-E's can often be found on sale for the same price. At $150, when it's on sale, this is tough to beat. I have this as well as an SSA-E and a DMR to compare to.
I was not super impressed at first doing some dry firing. Slow pulling reveals some creep, felt movement. Not terrible, but I've come to expect a lot from Geissele. Second stage breaks cleanly, without any "wall", which is what I was looking for out of this trigger.
Brought it to the range and my opinion has gone right back up. I've got this trigger in my 3-gun rig and if you want to throw some lead quickly this trigger makes it easy. The reset IS very short. It's awesome. Tried it against a friend's tuned trigger and found that the movement required for the B-GRF is so short that I was getting hung up on my friend's trigger, not releasing it enough.
Overall, I would say this trigger at $150 is probably one of the best competitive shooting triggers you can buy. For 3-gun. I didn't have any issues shooting slowly from a bench, but some people might. At $180, I can't say I'd take it every day. 4 stars because of that.
Great upgrade(17/04/2016)
I upgraded the mil spec triggers on my two 300 blackout rifles. I can't believe how smooth and light this trigger is. Replacing the mil spec trigger should be your first upgrade and this trigger is a great deal if you don't have the funds for the 3 gun trigger. As the product details state, this is a light trigger and should not be used for home defense or LE.
same performance as S3G for less(27/05/2016)
Well. Other than the missing engraving, this trigger is the same as the super 3 gun. Has the same feel, same geometry and same quality.
This is an economically priced trigger to get into 3 gun without breaking the bank.
Modification Required for DPMS 308(05/06/2016)
This was bought for a DPMS 308 build. I have several other Geissele triggers and they're all 5/5. And this one is a 5/5 trigger- but in another AR-15 or maybe an Armalite AR-10. The description says it'll fit in a DPMS 308 AR, but the Geissele instructions say that application requires one to machine off about 15 thou from the hammer- I didn't attempt. I'm actually going to try to see if I can send it Geissele and have them do. I do stand behind their products 100% but I wouldn't have bought this for a DPMS 308AR if I knew it required modification to function properly.
This is my 2nd B-GRF trigger(02/09/2016)
This trigger does require a "learning curve"... This trigger is a clean and crisp letoff at 3-4 pounds depending on spring installed (comes with both). Single shots are obtained by not "feathering" the trigger. The rifle will bump-fire if you do feather the trigger, because the reset is very short, allowing the recoil of the bolt carrier to reset the trigger. As stated earlier, this is my 2nd purchase of one of these for the reasons listed above.
I just wish I could afford to retro-fit all of my ARs with this trigger...
Smooth, light, super fast and robust. (08/10/2016)
The Geissele brownells-grf is a phenomenal single stage trigger. It has a pair of springs to adjust your pull weight, as well as one of the most quick and crisp breaks you can find for the money. The trigger has been in my carbine length piston driven 5.56mm gun which I've put about 3,500 rds through since the installation of this trigger. What I've found is the trigger is lightning fast! If you're one to run Mozambique drills and controlled pairs shooting, this trigger will shine! This is not a long range, bench rest trigger as running it slowly will put it at a disadvantage. It is an excellent cqb trigger. Rapid engagements will put your system at an advantage with this trigger. It will reset with close to zero over travel and very similarly to some of the double stage triggers I've ran. As the length of pull goes, it's like you are just scratching an itch. A very small amount of finger movement will trip the trigger so keep your finger off until engagement. The stage is very concise and smooth, no grit in this trigger. The weight option is great. The light spring has its place on the range and during drills, but if this is to become any sort of duty trigger, which I could recommend in an sbr for cqb, you would be best served utilizing the heavy spring for this trigger. All in all, if you want a fast, smooth trigger for steel matches and 3-gun, you may have found exactly what you need for quick performance and the robust feeling of Geissele triggers. This is my second of three Geissele trigger systems. I have an SSA-E as well as the Brownells-g2f-e which serve completely different purposes on built weapons platforms.
Great trigger!(05/11/2016)
All Geissle products are fantastic. Make sure you read the bump fire disclaimer though (I did not read it until after installing and firing at the range). They clearly state that bump fires are possible depending on the tensions of the AR you are attempting to install this on. My first trigger went into a stock Colt M4 SBR. Not only did it bump fire, but there was NO reset turning my Colt into a slow cycling full auto. This was very disturbing until I read the disclaimer. I have since installed this trigger in a Spikes Tactical and a Diamond Back with no issues in either. Just realize it may not function perfectly in every AR.
Great Trigger for you AR, Best I know of(25/01/2017)
I have these in everyone of my ARs. Crisp pull, rapid reset. They may not be the best for benchrest but they are marvelous for shooting in general. You can unload on something or just take a shot, like when hunting, and these will make it much easier for you to make the shot that counts. As near perfect for what I do as it comes this side of eternity.
Best value out there(16/03/2017)
I have 3 of these in AR15s and an AR10. These are my favorite triggers on the market. I have other giesselle triggers, CMC, Timney and ALG but nothing breaks like these. I can't recommend them enough.
Frustrated in Phoenix(22/04/2017)
After thoroughly reading the enclosed instructions then watching a video by Mr. Geissele himself about a similar trigger install (none on line for the B-GRF) as well as several other similar install videos, I went to work,The Geissele video said a placeholder pin was included with the item he was installing, it was not in the B-GRF. The written instructions said to remove the trigger retaining pin that came installed in the trigger and then reinstall after placing the new trigger in the lower holding pressure to align the holes. That proved to be impossible. After trying several options to align the parts, I finally took all the parts and rifle to a gunsmith to complete for at least $35. What was supposed to be - and would have been had I had the placeholder pin - a simple trigger install turned into an expensive hassle . Will repost once I get a chance to see if this was worth the hassle after actually shooting with the B-GRF.
Excellent product(30/06/2017)
I had a basic trigger in a rifle that I use for 3 gun and carry on duty as a Police Officer. It began showing sear issues, so I researched and decided on this trigger. It wasn't hard to put in, but you have to know the ins and outs of the AR platform to do it easily. After installing it, all the issues I had went away, and the rifle shoots exactly as expected. This isn't a target trigger...if you are looking for something to shoot small groups at long range, pick another one. This one is meant to shoot rapid multiple shots, such as an active shooter drill, or 3 gun competition. For that use, I highly recommend it.
Trigger Me This(17/12/2017)
I bought this BRGF trigger for my DPMS 308 Oracle. I found that I needed to modify the trigger by removing .015 off the hammer after reading the instructions. Not knowing how critical this measurement was I decided to install in a 556 receiver instead. The install was very easy and the results were quit noticeable with the short reset and crisp break. I think the modification notification should conveyed before purchase. I really would have hated the made the modification and it would not have function.
I had my doubts but WOW!(25/12/2017)
I thought there was no way a trigger that came in parts vs. a trigger that was housed in some sort of sleeve to keep everything perfectly aligned could work as good. I WAS WRONG. This trigger has a crisper letoff than others I've tried that are a self contained unit. A little harder to install than a self contained unit, but nothing most people can't handle. I'm told often how dumb I can be and I installed it. The pull weight measured between 2lbs. to 2-1/2lbs. on a Timney gauge. This one is GOOD! Makes hits just easier. I decided to try it when it was on sale. Probably wouldn't have tried this one if it weren't for the sale. Now, however, I think this might be the goto trigger for me. If you are looking for a significantly better trigger than stock, go this route and you won't be disappointed.
Geissele break and reset on a budget(28/01/2018)
I bought this for my backup rifle since it was a good deal.I love the feel of this trigger. It has a nice break and short fast reset.I have a Super Dyn.3 Gun trigger in my primary rifle and honestly I like the break and the reset better on this one.
Excellent Rapid fireTrigger(06/03/2018)
This B-GRF is a Great trigger. is very smooth, clean and the reset is super short. works great with Aeroprecision lower. i highly recommend this trigger. is in stock??? buy one! is in back order? buy one! this is a High fan mover Product and in less than three days is out of stock. dont less the opportunity to buy one and makes your AR Rocks!
almost perfect(25/03/2018)
The ONLY think that kept me from throwing up 5 stars is that since switching out from the SD3G to these, I've been getting a few light primer strikes. I thought that G triggers used a full strength hammer spring...not sure if that's the case with these brownells/geissele hybrids. I run high volume thru DD MK18's and didn't have a single issue with the SD3G or SDC triggers...only when I switched to these to try out the curved trigger bow. Ammunition used was privi. When I started getting light strikes, I switched to IWI 62gr 5.56...same issue. The trigger breaks great and is essentially the same as an SD3G-no wall, just takeup followed by dropoff...just wish I could figure out the light primer strikes...
Excellent Trigger (16/07/2018)
Allows rapid engagement and really shines in close-range Work. Excellent feel with the rolling break.
Not worth the price saving!!(09/09/2018)
I purschased the B-GRF trigger while on sale to compare to my SSA-E and SSP triggers. Unfortunately, the B-GRF doesnât even come close in quality compared to itâs Geissele counter parts. It almost feels as if they arenât even made by the same manufacturer. My first and biggest complaint is with the hammer spring retainer tends to rub on your lower when resetting the trigger, in turn making a grinding noise against your lower receiver wall. The noise can not be heard with the upper attached, but knowing itâs there drives me insane. Second, the trigger pull is NOWHERE near the advertised 4lb pull. Trigger pull is closer to MIL-spec 6lb pull, and this has also been verified by other buyers. If you are in the market for a quality rapid fire trigger, then spend the extra $25 and just get the Geissele SSP.
