I have used these in the Savage series rifles many times and they make short work of a broken or lost extractor. I had a young client come into the shop with a new Mossberg bolt action 243 with a broken extractor. I had the Savage part in stock and it looked similar to the one I needed so I tried it. A perfect fit and he was on his way.
