Good Pad (31/10/2012)

This is a good pad to take up recoil. We've been installing them for years. They hold up well against wear and tear.

Nice looking pad BUT...... (08/10/2014)

Nice looking recoil pad, but the backing plate was warped and the heal and toe bowed away from the stock. The backing plate was not flat when checked with a straight edge. I had to grind away 1/3 of the backing plate thickness to get it to sit flat on the stock. I expected better quality control from Pachmayr.

Great pad. (23/02/2015)

I have installed several of these pads they work great and look good when finished. take your time tape off stock and sand to fit with belt sander with the proper grit belt, when you cut through the first layer of tape all the way around dismount the pad and finish sanding by hand again with the proper grit, armor-all pad and reinstall. grit 80 then 220--320 follow instructions that are included.
