Plus One Extension(24/12/2015)
This product works great! No feed problems at all ball or hollow point. Gives you one more round capacity without changing the profile. Gives the 43 a full grip feel. Worth the money!
Excellent item for magazine(19/05/2016)
Perfect fit and function with 1 added round. Smooth edges keep it snag free and CCW friendly.
Can't rely on it.(04/10/2017)
I found that with hollow points I would get failure to feeds occasionally. Federal HST 124+p and some practice, non expanding, hollow point reloads I got at a gun show 124 gn. Sometimes the slide would miss the casing or slip off (pictured). Other times (with the practice stuff) it would jam against the bottom of the feed ramp. Basically plenty of evidence that the magazine spring tension is not keeping up with the recoil spring.
Maybe my gun is too new and the recoil spring needs to break in a little bit but I'm not going to find out.

I have these on both of my Glock 42 mags. I love them because now I can get my entire hand on the mini Glock, no pinky left wanting. They are well worth the cost! On the other hand, I bought the 42 to pocket carry and despite what everyone seems to think. I had no problems doing this, until I installed these grip extensions. The 42 will still carry in the pocket of my cargo shorts and pants but my jean pockets are just to tight. I solved this by buying a Desantis Intruder (which is a great holster by the way) but it somewhat defeats the purpose of what I bought the gun for. Overall, they're worth it. If you carry on the hip BUY THEM if you prefer pocket carry, give them a shot you'll only be out 20 bucks.
Needs modification to fit +2 9mm(04/02/2014)
Fits very well and easy to install. The hard part is getting the base plate off a new Gen 4 mag: Big vice-grips helped a lot there. Installed properly, there's NO way to fit +2 in there because the insert does not seat. Trim 1/16" to 1/8" off the front of the insert (the narrow end). It will seat properly and 12 rounds will fit. Tight fit, but they'll fit.
+2 for G26(10/02/2015)
+3 is asking a lot out of this extension. That 13th round took everything I had with a loader to get it in the magazine. Once in, it was very tight, although I don't thing the slide would have any issues chambering the first round. Adding that last round by hand was impossible. It looks stock and feels great. I have a sense of extra control just from gripping the weapon. I can't wait to test it on the range. I will update if necessary.
I replaced the base pad on one of my stock mags with the Zero Extension and immediately had to order several more for my other mags. These are great, they extend the mag enough that you have a better grip and control of the weapon, yet in no way make the weapon more visable for carry purposes.
Wow! Hard to find this item else where!(06/01/2016)
My hands are a bit bigger than average. This magazine/grip extension really helps with the Glock 36. Thanks Brownell's!
Excellent Extender(25/09/2012)
These Pearce extenders fit the mags to my compact G19 perfectly and go on easily. They provide that all-important extension to the 19 grip to comfortably give the pinky a solid rest. Appearance-wise, they are well made, look well-made, and tie into the profile of the G19 perfectly. They also fit the full size glock mags but of course are not as necessary given the longer grip.
Necessary for the Glock 30(24/09/2009)
This small inexpensive part makes the Glock 30 manageable. Without it, it is almost impossible to achieve a reasonable grip. Because the stock grip is so fat (double stack .45), there is little room for the small finger. This Pearce part makes the pistol comfortable and controllable. It is unknown why Glock does not make this magazine with a similar extension. The Pearce extension makes all the difference. Do not shoot without it.
Must Have(02/01/2010)
This mag extension is a must have for controlling your G29. The extension gives a full hand grip for far better recoil control and faster follow up shots. The extension adds very little length to the magazine making it easy to carry extra mags.
Best for Glock 26, too(23/02/2015)
This is the best magazine extension to use on the Glock 26 9mm despite what the description reads. It perfectly matches the appearance and size of the finger grooves on the Glock 26 frame, and looks like a factory piece. It really only allows one additional 9mm round to be loaded, though, but greatly enhances the grip and doesn't detract from conceal-ability. Carry a G17 magazine for a spare and you'll have 11+1+17=29 rounds on you!
Broke first time out.(02/05/2010)
Gave great grip extension to my Glock 26, however I accidentally dropped an empty magazine on a wood floor and the base broke off. Would not use for concealed carry!
Pearce Grip Extension for Glock 26/27(21/01/2011)
Don't bother with the installation instructions which say to push in the retention button while squeezing the magazine with your fingers while sliding off the magazine floor plate. You would need three hands and one of them better have super-human strength. I have a strong grip and couldn't come close to releasing the retention tabs. Simply use a couple of jewelers screw drivers to carefully pry the floor plate off the retention lips. This can be done without damaging the magazine or the original floor plate. Once you get the old floor plate off, installation of the Pearce extension just takes seconds. I would have given this 5 stars if the installation instructions had been better.
Great addition to my Glock(10/05/2012)
Gives you good control and allows a home for your pinky which was an issue with my Glock 26
