In most modern firearms its common for the user to be able to pull back on the slide and release to load the first round into the chamber. This is often referred to as "sling shot" action. Frustratingly enough, for the Ruger 22/45 this is not the case. The design of the bolt stop forces the shooter to press on the slide release to load the first round. Works exactly as advertised (06/04/2017)

The slingshot upgrade installed easily, and works as advertised. Locks bolt to the rear on a empty magazine, & allows you to chamber a round from a fresh magazine by slingshotting the bolt forward. Very smooth. Definitely worth the cost for me.

Part did not work (21/04/2017)

Bought and had an exceptional Master Gunsmith install. Part or Ruger is out of spec. I will contact Tandemkross but not impressed.

The issue is that the slide stop no longer works with the tandemkross kanewolf slingshot mod installed. The slingshot works fine, I pull the bolt, release and the bolt goes into battery. Slide also doesn't function properly.

Works as advertised (08/11/2017)

Installation was quick and simple. Really makes shooting easier, great to have quicker reloads.

Not good (14/06/2018)

First time I used it, the small plunger got stuck inside the Arm. It's NIW like a stock bolt release except it is now way shorted than the stock one. And a real pain to use. I am going back to stock.
