Extra long fiber optic rod provides a glowing sight picture that draws your eye to the sight. Open center blade lets in lots of light for a bright red, easy-to-see dot. Works well with ghost ring, v-notch and conventional sights. Includes spare optic rod.

.240 Red Lighting Rod Sight (24/04/2016)

Installed on a ATIFGX 45 K FX1911 to compliment my new adjustable rear sight works very well for my old eyes it is much easier to focus on than the 3 dot white. The 3 colors that come with allows you to chose what color works best for you. Put a couple of drops of thread locker on it and went to range sighted in and its right on target no cons so far.

Easy and accurate (07/05/2010)

I put this on a 45 I Put together. After using it, I quickly changed the optic sights on 2 others. The optic tube is easy to change. You cut it, burn the front and pull it through so you are looking through an open hole at the optic. If your burn is not perfect the part you see still is and it's small and very bright. After you pull the optic through cut and burn the back and it's rock solid. I have 20,000 rounds through each of the guns with this sight on them and have never lost the optic. No glue just a nice tight fit.

Great front sight (05/07/2012)

I installed this on my Colt 1911 Commander I use for a local club weekly steel match and it made a HUGE difference in how fast I can put the front sight on target. Even at night shooting with lights behind me this sight lights up like a bright LED. The original insert that came in the sight fell out after about 500 rounds, but once I installed a new one in 2 minutes (bonus that it came with extras) it has been good for a few thousand rounds.
