Lengthen Forcing Cones To Improve Patterns, Reduce Recoil
Double-duty reamers lengthen short chambers to modern standard or magnum lengths and cut the new long forcing cone at the same time - OR - will cut a long forcing cone without lengthening the chamber for the gunsmith seeking improved shooting performance for his customer. Flute placement, relief and angle are designed to give the best possible results on all types of barrel steel (except on chrome lined barrels, of course!). The 1½" long (approximately) forcing cone created is performance proven to give optimum results in any length chamber. (For complete instructions see below our detailed, illustrated booklet, Measuring and Rechambering Shotgun Chambers.) Reamers are ground exclusively for us from special, select tool steel by one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of reamers in the United States. Plus, the hex-drive permits use of a socket and T-handle when tap handles will not operate. Lathe setup not required.

410 reamer(17/04/2016)
This 410 reamer is well worth the price. I did four double barrels
I did it by hand with a 3/8 ratcheting box end wrench, used plenty of cutting oil, did all 8 barrels, reamer never seized up, or dulled. I changed all barrels form 2" bores to 3".
This tool does an incredible job.(10/12/2010)
Follow the directions, and go easy. Cuts quickly and I've never seen a reamer leave a nicer finish.
Good, not perfect.(23/03/2014)
Bought the reamer on Feb. 27, 2014. Have lengthen two chambers, three forcing cones on 870 barrels, by hand. Use a tight t-handle on the hex, you will need to pull/cut your way out. If you do not "feel" the reamer cutting. Do not force it, it will bind. Sharpen it. Follow the instructions. Arkansas stones, clean with hot soap and water. My reamer had to be sharpened when I got it, and often. The hex end of the reamer flared out to max chamber width, the top 1 1/4". It did not help. I grinded it down about .020. The hex is bearly long enough to allow the use of a t-handle to lengthen an 870 chamber. You can make an extension with a long 1/2" six sided socket, 3/8 drive. Attach the reamer and a square 3/8 to the socket with hex screws. Will need a chamber depth gauge. Use a good cutting oil. You need to clamp the barrel tight. hope this helps.
Great Value for $$$$(26/04/2014)
This chamber reamer is super, great finish and it cut a totally round chamber ans forcing cone.
