Technologically-Advanced Formulas Give High-Performance Results
Gets gun bores squeaky clean and shining but is harmless to all metal surfaces, including titanium, aluminum and stainless steel. Actually breaks down carbon so copper and lead fouling float free; completely odorless, non-flammable, non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally safe to use. Penetrates hydrocarbon-based greases, oils (will damage oil-based stock finishes) and gun powder residues; strips the metal completely clean but leaves a thin, rust inhibiting film with no oily feel. Heat and agitation will accelerate the cleaning action. Can be used as a tank solvent. Not a lubricant.
SPECS: 4 fl. oz. (118 ml), 8 fl. oz. (237 ml) pump spray bottle, and 32 fl. oz. (939 mL), spray bottle.

The Best Gun Cleaner I have used(14/05/2010)
I love this cleaner because it has no odor, is non-toxic and biodegradable, but especially cause it does a perfect job of cleaning. I use it in an ultrasonic cleaner I bought at [...] on two 8 minute cycles with heat and it cleans barrels so clean that a patch with Butch's on it comes out without a mark after using Mpro7. I use Mpro7 lubricating oil sparingly after cleaning and I'm done.
Great gun cleaner(31/08/2009)
M-Pro is the best gun cleaner I have used. It puts other cleaners to shame. It has no odor.
Love this Stuff!(18/10/2009)
Odorless, non-toxic, biodegradable, cleans very well, does not leave a film. This is the only bore cleaner I use now.
This stuff WORKS!(26/03/2011)
I have tried many different solutions in the past- brkae cleaner, Ed's red, clp, Hoppes and so on, and this is the best so far. I like that I can make a soak tank and just drop parts, grips, etc on in. When I pull them out, a quick wipe and...clean! I use the bore foam for copper. No nasty smell or worries about bad chemicals on the skin either. Blow it off with a compressor and then some Slip 2000 EWL (would try M-pro LPX if they made a 16oz).
Unbelievably good.(17/10/2011)
I was amazed at how well this product worked. As a cleaning agent this is unparalleled. I was happy straight out of the box but then, as a test, I cleaned my guns as I normally would. The barrels were mirror clean, I thought. I applied M-Pro 7 let it sit for a minute and the swab came out black! You can't beat this with a stick. Finish up with a little oil and you are done.
Great product(19/12/2011)
This is one of the most user friendly products ever developed for cleaning guns. Excellent results for removing powder residue and crud. Does not tear up your hands like some other products I have used. While doing department weapons maintance, I would use this on handguns, shotguns, and AR-15 rifles on a daily basis. We would clean and inspect between 1800-2000 guns annually, so we used a lot of this stuff. Now that I'm retired I still use it on all my personal firearms. Love this stuff.
it just plain works(14/06/2012)
As an old crank from a Military family, my attitude about high-tech newfangled cleaners was "if it isn't highly toxic and stink-like-Hell, it'll never work". But you can't argue with success. It seems to work on any kind of fouling, so beat 'em or join 'em! I'll never use another cleaner again, period. Very impressive!
Money Wasted(10/02/2014)
Compared to Break-Free CLP this stuff is not much better than soapy water . I tested it against the Break-Free and it wasn't even close .This stuff is really a poor barrel cleaner. Simple Green would probably do a better job . Save your money .
The best(01/10/2009)
Best cleaner I have ever used. Breaks down carbon like the super abrasive solvents out there, but you can handle with bare hands and it doesn't stink up the whole place or make you dizzy. Bought 2 gallons and run it through a small parts cleaning tank, perfect. I recommend it to everyone.
It will break down paint, even Alumahyde II.
Works great for me(23/09/2010)
I use it to soak my .223 sound suppressor over night to get the carbon out of the baffles. I like it because I can see the carbon come out of my can, and the fact that it is not flammable means I don't have to worry about my can exploding because some gases were left in the baffles.
Easy on Hands!(20/11/2011)
As a gunsmith I've tried them all... I use this as a primary cleaning agent. It is easy on the hands as I try to avoid toxic products & there are a lot out there. My hands are in much better shape with MPRO7 products. All of my customers like the complimentary bottle I give them too. No more contact cleaner/carb cleaner. Enough was enough & it does not make my wife sick from the fumes. Great value too. All I use in the shop are MPRO7 products.
Mpro7 gun cleaner(28/05/2012)
I first saw this product demonstrated at a gun show. The seller was showing how it worked, especially removing blackpowder residue. It did a fantastic job in removing the burnt powder, old oil, etc. Also he said that you could re-use it by straining it through nylons. I have never tried this though.I use my MPRO7 on the bores, and any parts that I disassembled. I would NOT use it on assembled parts as it gets down in the smallest of places and removes ALL of the oil down to the squeaky clean metal and if you don't get oil back in those tiniest of places they will rust. Also as I was cleaning the bore of my rifle, some of it ran out on the stock and took off some of the finish, that was the only negative that I have to say about it.
Surprised(22/11/2012)
I had seen this product on line while researching SCAR cleaning (first chrome barreled item) and thought I'd try it. Got the 8oz bottle. Well, it's everything it said it was going to be. I know longer use solvents, which I didn't want to do on a chrome lined barrel anyway, and now use it on everything. It's less messy and makes cleaning a lot quicker. Just ordered a gallon.
Works FINE With Glocks in Ultrasonics!(12/05/2013)
I bought a new Hornady ultrasonic cleaner from Brownell's this week and used water and M-Pro 7 at 2:1 for the solution. M-Pro 7's product website gives full instructions for ultrasonic cleaning, and suggests 1:1 for heavy carbon deposits or 9:1 for general cleaning. I had a dozen dirty Glocks to clean after several pistol classes (at least a thousand rounds per gun). I was greatly impressed! Detail stripped guns in the tank for 20 minutes at 125 degrees, followed by a hot-water rinse, and the results were outstanding: Frames internally spotless, all of the carbon residue gone from the nooks and crannies, hard carbon deposits on the ramp and barrel hood turned to a soft film that wiped off with a soft cloth or soft nylon brush, bores free of metal fouling, one patch down the bore to finish the job. There was absolutely NO damage to any plastic or metal surfaces, and all parts were totally free of any oil or dirt. The solution worked so well, I had to change it after every four guns as it turned nearly black and the cleaning slowed down noticeably. The benefit of not having to use dangerous chemicals and a lot of scrubbing to do the same job is obvious.
Best stuff on the market(11/08/2009)
Been using this stuff for at least four years. Nothing cleans the bore better. Safe on all finishes, including nickel. I know of one other person who claims this stuff marred his finish, but even he admits he neglected to remove the product completely during cleaning. I haven't had any such problems. Non-toxic & odorless, so no spousal issues if cleaning indoors. There's a well-known producer of gunsmithing DVD's, and one of their DVD courses concerns gun cleaning, tips, & secrets of the trade. In that DVD, they say that MP-7 (as M-Pro7 was originally known) is the best product available. They don't specifically say it by name, but you can see the bottle. I agree, it's the best I've used, and it's not like I haven't tried other "big name" brands.
Great stuff(21/02/2011)
This is truly one of the best gun cleaners out there. Not only does it cut through carbon, lead, and copper fouling, it does so without eating through your skin, or stinking up your house. Those qualities make it a top notch product for me.
Excellent for pistols.(01/09/2012)
Use MPRO7 on all my pistols. It does a great job, you don't need a lot, and the spray bottle lets you use just what you need with no waste. It has a pleasant smell and works quickly to remove carbon.
I occassionally use a copper solvent on high volume barrels to supplement MPRO7, but this stuff is really all you need. I don't use it on my rifles for a variety of reasons, but not because I don't think it won't do a good job. I just use different products depending on the rifle and ammunition used.
Great product.
The best bio-friendly carbon cutter(08/07/2009)
I've been using MPro7 gun cleaner for about ten years now, and it's still the best low-odor, bio-friendly carbon cutter around. 99% of the time MPro7 + nylon brush will get rid of most carbon (I had a revolver cylinder that required some scrubbing with a bronze bristle brush to get all the lead fouling off). MPro7 will attack copper in a barrel (I get blue streaks on patches after leaving it in the barrel ~5 min) but there are other bio-friendly copper removers that work better/quicker.
070-1002 MPRO7 Gun Cleaner 4 OZ.(20/08/2009)
I am a NRA Firearms Instructor and for as long as I can remember my wife HATES the smell of the various cleaners that I have used over the years (we have been married for over 35 years). I seen a ad about MPRO7 being almost oderless so I had to try some. Not only does it clean better than anything I have used but It ended all of the grumbling that took place around the house whenever I would clean my firearms. My thanks goes out to the manufactors of this product and alot of my students have started using it also.
Nothing Else Like It(29/01/2010)
I have a shelf full of other cleaning products I have tried to remove the black carbon rings around the chambers of my Ruger Super Redhawk. Some did a little, most did nothing. I sprayed the M-Pro 7 on and let it set for 5 minutes. Sprayed it again, and immediately brushed off most of the carbon! After a second treatment as the first, and all of it was gone!
The best--but unscented(09/07/2010)
I've used M-Pro 7 for the past 6 or 8 years, ever since I bought my first pump-bottle, on my Bushmaster XM-15, S.A. M1-A, Glocks, and Smith wheelguns both stainless and blued. Nothing has ever come close to the effectiveness of this solvent (and I've tried all of them over the years). No need for overnight soaking to get the bore (or anything else) clean. Just pump-spray or swab out with a wet patch, let it work for 5 minutes or so; brush and then dry with a clean patch, and repeat. If your bore isn't hound's-tooth clean and mirror-bright after that, have your gun re-barrelled. My one complaint is that M-Pro 7 is odorless, so I miss the old fragrance of Hoppe's. My solution? I wet a clean patch with Old #9, and lay it on the bench as I'm cleaning so that I can enjoy the scent and think I'm working harder than I am. Any questions?
End all be all? For me it is...(24/02/2012)
My new personal favorite cleaning product. Pair this with a quality lube and your good to go!
I would recommend this to anyone. Also economically safe!
cleans(05/03/2012)
cleaned old shotgun that was cleaned patches came out dirty, cleans great cleaned ar with it got sticky then noticed it stripped most of the dry film out of upper receiver after sitting about five minutes did not like that part
Excellent gun cleaner, will buy again!!!(25/05/2012)
I love using M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner to clean my guns. It works like a charm & it's odorless (which makes my girlfriend happy), non-toxic, & non-flammable unlike a lot of other cleaners. I'm happy that it's also is made here in the USA so, it's for Americans by Americans. I used it all the time when I was deployed & I still use it here at home. I also love the fact that it leaves a film that protects the firearm from rust but, it's not a gun oil. I would totally recommend M-Pro7 Gun CLeaner to any gun owner.
Best Cleaner out there(03/10/2012)
M-Pro 7 is one heck of a great cleaner. I've used Hoppe's #9 ever since I started shooting, and after trying this product, it gets the bore mirror-finish clean and actually removes the carbon rings from my Revolver cylinder faces with just a little sitting and scrubbing - no other products could get it off outside of using Lead Away cloths. Has no odor - smells basically like soapy water. I also went over an already cleaned gun (Hoppes) with it and it got MORE stuff out...amazing!
I'm glad I gave this a try - shows that newer technology can be better than the old (i.e. Hoppes #9).
Best gun cleaner, spray pump dont work(17/04/2014)
I am a recent convert to MPRO7 cleaner and totally agree with the very positive reviews posted. Unfortunately, the bottle spray pump never worked. Gave the product 5 stars. Spray pump 0 stars.
Great cleaner...(07/01/2016)
Decided to try a few new cleaners after using Hoppes #9 for the past 20yrs... M-Pro7 works well and cleans without scrubbing and has no odor. It foams a bit which was something new for me. My one complaint is that it leaves a slightly oily feel... Yet is not a 2-1 cleaner/lube.
