Effective(02/10/2009)
This tool makes ease of stubborn receiver pins. Light weight and portable. Hard no marring polymer.
Simplicity(02/10/2009)
Makes disassembly of the mag catch simple. Hard no mar polymer.
Totally unnecessary tool(04/09/2012)
I have found that a small wooden dowel or the eraser end of a pencil works just as well and costs virtually nothing. And this gets lost in the bottom of my range bag.
Totally unnecessary(15/11/2016)
As a new AR builder, I got this tool not knowing how easy magazine catch installation was. If you're building a lower receiver, you'll already have plenty of pins and punches that will do the job that this does: pushing lightly on a thing that's just too small for your finger to get to. A pencil or even a car key will do: there's nothing delicate or special about this.
