Precision-adjustable torque driver ensures that you apply the exact amount of leverage needed to accurately tighten any gun screw, including action screws and scope ring/mount screws. Adjustable from 15 to 70 in-lb. in 1 in-lb. increments to eliminate guesswork and prevent under- or over-tightening screws - no more stripped threads or broken-off screw heads. The 1/4" magnetic hex drive socket accepts ANY Brownells Magna-Tip bit - plus, 6 bits commonly needed for gun work are included! Ergonomic, rubber-coated handle gives you a secure grip for maximum leverage and even transfer of tightening force. To change torque setting, simply turn the orange collar to the desired setting indicated through the easy-to-read window scale. A self-limiting cam-over clutch "clicks" free when the specified amount of torque is reached, making over-tightening impossible. Each driver is hand calibrated and inspected, and comes with a handwritten certification card.

Works Well. (20/03/2016)

I had misgivings about ordering this item due to the country of origin. (I prefer USA made when available even if its more $). With the Brownell guarantee, I figured lets do it. Pleasantly surprised. Works as advertised. Have used it on any number of

guns to torque to spec. Flawless at what I expect the torque to be. Shape of the handle works well.

Nice tool works well. Verified the torque setting with a $180 tool and it was spot on.

magna tip bits included poor quality (27/04/2017)

I bought this item for scope mounting.

The torque wrench seems to work properly but the only time I wanted to use it, I couldn't, because the torx magna tip bit number 10 is not the good size (I compared with 3 different torx wrenches number 10).

Extremely well made (18/12/2017)

I had to remove the scope from my R700 and this little device cost less than what the gunsmith wanted plus he wanted 2 weeks to do it. This is a must have if you are swapping out scopes and mounts. Had a ham fisted pal that over tighten one screw in a $200 scope mount and stripped it out - needless to say he bought a new mount and an inch-pound torque wrench.

The T15 bit must be made of butter because it stripped at less than 25 in-lb. Chinese steel.
