855426005203 Gives an instant check to make sure the gun is perfectly level for every shot, so every shot goes where it's aimed. If you sighted in carefully at 100 yards with the crosshairs level, then canted the gun just six degrees you'd move the next shot over 1/2". Not much, but enough to completely miss a small target, or wound a larger one. The problem gets worse at longer ranges. One of the screw holes was stripped. It is too small to fit a 1 inch scope.
Useful Accessory 08/01/2016
Have not fired the rifle with it installed. However, after dry firing off a bipod and shooting sticks, I think it will be useful and practicable even though it is a little hard to see with the non shooting eye. I don't want a level that protrudes from the scope.Two criticisms - The screws are installed from the bottom (why?) which makes it harder to install the level than it would be otherwise. I would like to see the sharp corners rounded. Noting the aforementioned criticisms, I would recommend it to friends and associates.
