I would buy this product again(22/07/2010)
I have found that this product works beter with soft Russian primers as miss-fires can occur with some hard primers. This is obviously due to the shorter striker fall/travel. A great product and recommended for its ease of fitting and use.
speedy(22/07/2011)
I have two, and need one more. Light gunsmithing required. It does increase the bolt lift weight, but that is the trade off for coc on open w/ speedlock. I gave it five stars because it excels at everything it is supposed to do.
Excellent kit .org(17/08/2017)
Have used this conversion on three 17s to date this order is to do 3 14s and 1 17.Easy to install with excellent trigger will go down to 1.75 with ease. Watch the trigger frame when first installed for proper clearance.
"I would buy this 7 days a week"(14/05/2011)
Instalation within seconds on the action/reciever; you will though have to make room in the stock if you are use the Miltray stock.
THE BEST(19/04/2012)
Anyone with a 98 conversion should use this trigger. Simple, straightforward, and absolutely easy to install. In a vz-24 nothing could be better for a sporter conversion
Better than I thought it would be(10/02/2014)
I put this trigger on a Czech Brno mauser 98.It fit perfectly and didn't need any modification. I was able to eliminate creep and set the pull to a very low setting. I would estimate it to be around 1 lb. I am very surprised this trigger came out this well on this old mauser. This trigger is actually better after I adjusted it than the factory triggers on my modern rifles. I also bought and installed a Bold's on another mauser and I can't seem to get it as good as this one. I have bought a second Dayton Traister for another mauser 98 I am building.
1st Class Trigger (19/02/2016)
Used this trigger in a custom VZ-24 with a rebarreled with a new 8x57 barrel in a McMillan. Easiest Mauser trigger I've ever installed. Adjustments are easy and trigger breaks very clean and at consistent pull weight. I'd rank this trigger right up there with Timney for feel and function, also really like the steel construction.
Very satisfied(16/03/2017)
Installed on a Yugo 24/47 with military stock and used a dremel to remove minor excess wood inside the stock for trigger clearance.
Fits perfect.
Yugo M48 installation(29/05/2018)
Great trigger once installed. Easy install on the receiver but the stock required inleting. Took about 1.5 hours of carefully removing elm stock material behind the original inlet. About 3/8 wide and as deep cut out back to 3/8" of rear receiver pillar. When first installed, I did not take enough material out and the bolt would bind on cocking when the receiver screws were tightened. Removed more material with the dremel. Trigger guard was fine but I opened the trigger hole slightly. Good pull with a hint of two stage, very crisp break. Well worth the effort.
Love it.(25/07/2017)
I chose the D-T over Timney because the Timney buckles up tight against the receiver and is hard to push the bolt over the sear. The D-T uses the spring as found in original Swedes so bolt slides over the sear smoothly, and flexes just like the original. Trigger is crisp.
I wish they made this trigger with a safety like the Timney.
