Low-Profile, Ergonomically-Enhanced Grip Increases Weapon Control

Developed with input from combat veterans, this lightweight, low-profile grip helps the operator maintain greater control of the rifle regardless of firing position. Helps the shooter achieve a comfortable grip, with a natural placement of the fingers, a pronounced hand stop at the rear, and an anti-slip textured surface that keeps the hand in place, even when wet. The ridged front face lets the shooter brace the rifle against barricades, ledges, or other available support surfaces, creating a dependable shooting platform without worrying about slippage. Mounts easily and securely to Picatinny handguard rail with a super-stable, wobble-free, friction lock. Minimal bulk: extends only 1” below handguard. Molded hard polymer construction delivers strength without a weight penalty.

To short for me. (09/08/2015)

I have long fingers and the back of the grip did not hold my thumb up it needed to be longer and the hole grip as a hole was a little to short. it needed to be about 1.5 or 2 inches longer. just my ordeal to me it was build like the magpulls grip just needed to be longer thanks

Well, first the bad: when installed, the bolt sticks out past the nut enough that it is uncomfortable. after 30 seconds with a dremel, problem solved. the good: it's comfortable. it's a lower and narrower profile than Magpul's grip. it's also cheaper. time will tell with quality. But, my initial first impression is positive. Note: throw some loctite on the threading to prevent loosening due to vibration.

I just picked up this grip and it's very solid. It is compact and has a lower angle than you'd expect which is great because I get a firm grip for more control. The construction is high quality. I even dig the fact that it looks like a cobra and doesn't mess with the overall integrity of the grip. At least you know some people think out of the box. Overall very solid, good performance and killer design that makes my rifle stand out and people ask me what fore grip I have.

The bolt that sticks out past the nut has been fixed, they don't come like that.

This is a very nice afg, feels great, works very well against a barrier.

I'm a big fan of Strike Industries, they make some really good products. The Cobra Tactical Fore Grip is a high quality product, a good alternative to the AFG.
