The carrier is machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum and is installed with a steel latch and stainless-steel torsion spring that keep the carrier secured on the side of the shotgun's receiver. Each Quick Disconnect Shotgun Shell Carrier is treated with a Type 3 hardcoat-anodized finish and also includes a skeletonized backing plate that saves weight while keeping the unit strong.
