MKII HAMMER BUSHING(23/02/2010)
If you're going to change out a hammer bushing, the reason you are doing it is to remove that particular point of slop. You don't want the hammer bushing turning inside the hammer's hole. The VQ hammer bushing does improves trigger pull over the factory part but it doesn't completely remove that pivot point between hammer and bushing because it wasn't intended to, it lacks the extra improvement provided by other bushings. However, you can use loctite or little epoxy on a VQ bushing before installing it to hammer in order to hold it solid inside the hammer and eliminate the pivot point.
Great Product(14/11/2010)
Great product, does exactly what it is advertised to do. VERY easy install.
Great replacement part(30/01/2012)
Got this to put in my Mark III 22/45. Very easy to install. This bushing will allow you to take out the magazine disconnect and make your life a whole lot easier when assembling/dissassembling the firearm.
Not as tight fit as Clark(03/02/2016)
This slightly tightens the fit between the hammer and pin. It does not require fitting at all. But it does leave perceptible movement.
The Clark version does require (very simple & easy) fitting, and makes the fit as perfect as you have patience for. It can be made to leave no perceptible movement. But it costs almost triple this one. So, spend a little, get a little, or spend a lot more, get a lot more. How does that Brownells motto go again?
