The Badger Ordnance Savage Short Action Scope Rail (Pre-AccuTrigger) has a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny slot pattern for maximum compatibility with the many Picatinny tactical scope rings currently available. Fits Savage bolt action rifles built before the introduction of AccuTrigger - identified by the flat rear receiver bridge Machined from pre-hardened, ordnance-grade 4142 carbon steel Hard, anti-corrosion matte black mil-spec manganese phosphate Parkerized finish Bore height dimension is .31" The Badger Ordnance Savage Short Action Scope Rail (Pre-AccuTrigger) has an integral recoil lug that ensures this base won’t move, even when shooting the hardest-kicking cartridges.
