Definitely recommended

The best there is 29/08/2018

Started gunsmithing as a hobby in 1970. Thatâs the date on my first FFL, which I have framed as a momento on my shop wall. I bought my first set of Grace screwdrivers that year. I kept it up as a sideline till I retired in 2012 when I opened my shop full time. Iâve worked on and built thousands of fine firearms since 1970, and I use those Grace screwdrivers every day. Iâve added to the basic set, ( got about 20 âadd-onsâ fitted to special screws, all Grace, in the rack(s) now). Iâve re-ground several many times, and I fit them to the slots Iâm needing on a daily basis. Some Iâve replaced as Iâve re-ground them past their useful limits, but Iâve never had one fail me. The best there is. Period

Bought my first set of Grace screwdrivers 44 years ago, and I just placed my second order for an 8-piece set and the Special "Handgun" set. I still have several of my original set in my over-the-bench rack, and I'm only ordering replacements for what I have literally used up over the years. They can be ground to exactly fit any screw needed, unlike cheap drivers, as the bits are through-hardened The handles of my originals have NEVER loosened up, no matter how hard they were twisted, and the square shank is perfect for using a tiny 3" adjustable wrench for those rusted-in "headaches" while leaning on the handle end. The fixed blades are more rigid than any changable bit driver can ever be. If a gunsmith doesn't have a well-worn set of Graces' over their bench, (in addition to the fancy replacable bit drivers), you better not leave your gun there. I have every set of "Professional" replaceble bit drivers on the market. What do I grab first on S&W Sideplates, SAs' and S X S s'? Guess!!A more perfect screwdriver for gun use I cannot imagine. (Now, if GRACE would make some fancy-handled "turnscrews" for replacing those missing ones in the cased doubles I work on....)
