Trims Away The Last "Whisker" For A Squared-Up Sight Installation
No more tilted, sloppy looking, half square front sight beads. Faces-off the base of "Bradley"-style (Bev-L-Blok, Raybar, Sunspot, etc.) beads so they end up straight and square to the center of the rib or barrel when tightened. Six-bladed cutter with precisely drilled hollow center accepts bead shank. Turning the handle trims base of the bead at a true 90° angle that's absolutely square with the shank.
SPECS: Six blade cutter, high speed steel, 3½" (8.8cm) long, 1-1/8" (2.8cm) diameter handle.

Does What It is Designed to Do(13/09/2012)
Used this tool as a result of a Guntech recommendation to properly index a Meprolight Mossberg 5-40 threaded tritium bead. The #6 intended for 6-48 beads, worked like a champ on the 5-40 threaded shank.
Good tool(15/01/2015)
Used this installing a front bead that needed to be indexed. Wasn't sure if I would need it or not but I am very glad I ordered it. When I first installed my sight I was probably 300 degrees from where I needed. Used this to shave the bottom until it was just snug with about 90 degrees to go. I would have certainly snapped the small 3-56 screw off in the hole had I not had this tool. Highly recommend, if you need it, you NEED it. Only bad part is I probably won't use it again for a very long time.
