An aluminum backing plate is attached to the shotgun's receiver and features a tactile tab that overhangs near the rear end of the receiver. Simply push on the tab to release the shell carrier, and a fresh carrier reload can be quickly added to its place. Each Universal Detachable Shotgun Shell Carrier is sized to fit inside standard AR-15 magazine pouches, so shotgunners can carry different types of ammunition or have extra reloads ready to snap into the receiver-mounted carrier when needed.
