very nice tune spring kit work real good(04/02/2010)
very nice tune spring kit work real good!!!
great kit for GP 100(21/09/2010)
I use this kit to modify my trigger pull and all springs from kit work great - now I have a light and short trigger - excellent for bull eye shooting or IPSC!
Amazing Difference for [$](16/02/2012)
These springs have been the best improvement to my new 6' gp100! installation took 5 minutes! Just remember to use a fork* to take off the hammer spring thats the secret. My revolver went from about 12Ib to 7 in double action, and from 7Ib to about 2 1/2Ib in single action. I used the #8 trigger spring and the # 10 hammer spring and have %100 reliability after about 300 rounds of everything from cheap fiocchi to expensive cordon ammo. I mostly shoot hornady and all the primer strikes are %100. Buy the! and I also thought about buying the brownell branded springs for $4 more but no need.
Quality springs(18/02/2012)
Good quality springs, clearly labelled, and easy to install. Greatly improves the trigger pull on revolvers.
Did not work properly(11/02/2016)
Maybe I got a lemon, but the springs were significantly shorter than required to reset the trigger and fully drop the hammer on the transfer bar. The gun would not cycle in double action. I put the stock springs in and it worked fine. Waste of $10.
Better Than Five(01/08/2016)
Conductive intensive research appropriate to function and offering of multiple choices. This package exceeded all expectations. A five star rating is not high enough. Took less than five minutes from start to finish and difference is day to night.
Slick up your GP100!(01/01/2018)
My DA trigger pull went from way off the scale down to 8 lbs. Noticeably lessened and smoother. My SA trigger pull went from 3 lbs. 8 oz. to 2 lbs. 2 oz. using the #10 hammer spring. Those are less than the GP100 Match Champion factory pull weights. No light primer strikes so far either. Very satisfied.
The Hammer Springs have Tapered Ends(03/09/2018)
Look at the picture - all the hammer springs have tapered ends (the stock spring is not tapered). The taper causes the hammer spring to rub/bind on the hammer strut where it passes through the spring retaining plate. This adds significant grittiness to the double action pull. The only way to avoid it is to grind off the last couple of coils to get rid of the taper. This of course changes the effective weight of the spring. I will stick to Wolff springs next time
