Waste of money(26/08/2015)
Waste of money. My powder stuck to the sides and needed to be brushed clear with each load. Not sure if it was the ribs or the Power Pistol...but the cheap plastic ones work as well or better.
works perfectly. love these funnels(21/04/2018)
No problems with static whatsoever. Works and fits 9mm luger perfectly. Way better than any plastic funnel.
Sweet(09/02/2011)
I couldnt say that this tool makes my reloading any faster or more accurate but boy does it look SWEET. It is amongst the 1st tool others notice on the bench....Go on...Go get one... They also make good prizes...dish em out at the range...
Must have for reloading(02/06/2011)
I purchased these caliber specific funnels and there is no comparison to any other kind of funnel. If you put your cases in a block, you can set this funnel on a case and it will not tip or move, and you don't have to use one hand to hold it. Helps speed up the precision reloading process.
BUY THIS(21/01/2012)
It sounds silly, but this is one of the best reloading investments I've ever made. The beauty of this funnel is that it sits (balances?) on top of case mouths perfectly, no matter the depth of the neck. Each pour is perfect, and powder doesn't statically stick to the funnel. Be warned that some powders will clog going in (this really more of a powder issue than a funnel issue) so you have to keep an eye on that, but it's about the only "be careful" warning I can give on this product. Seriously, get one!
Not worth it(12/08/2012)
I bought the 22-30 cal model because I load 6mm and .22. Should have gotten the specific caliber model.
The opening that fits over the case is huge (over 1/2") so cases do not center themselves at all in the case, couple this with the almost flat taper at the top of the inside of the brass piece and cases never center themselves resulting in spilled power.
If you want something for multiple cals then save your money and just get a cheap plastic Hornady one.
Note to mfgr, add more taper the portion that come in contact with the case mouth.
REVIEW_NUMBER_FIELD_PREFIX.223(05/03/2014)
All the other funnels are great. This one is ok as long as you don't use it on .223 it doesn't site very well on the top of the case.
Go caliber-specific, not this one!(19/03/2014)
I absolutely loved the quality of the non-static aluminum funnel itself. However, the huge brass piece at the bottom does not fit well over the .223 cases. I thought this would come with brass fittings for all of the calibers listed. Not true. It's one-size-fits-all. It even wobbles on my 30.06 casings.
I would suggest going with a caliber-specific Satern; doing so might ensure a bitter caliber-specific fit.
Not one grain lost.(08/06/2014)
I replaced my green RCBS plastic funnel with this Aluminum Powder Funnel. The way the Aluminum model is machined makes for every grain to enter my cartridge. I load bullets now and when I throw a load form my Competition powder dispenser, into the funnel to the cartridge, not one grain falls free to the table when ever I take the funnel off to pour it on the scale or pour it back into the powder hopper. Not one grain when done properly. With that plastic job every now and then you would loose a few grains when you would remove it but so far with this aluminum version, it is just perfect.
NOT IDEA FOR SMALL CALIBRES(18/11/2014)
The product is described as suitable for .22 - .30 cal but when one uses it with .22 one has to be very careful to center it exactly over the case mouth or one ends up with daylight between the case mouth and the funnel aperture = spillage. I would not recommend it for reloading small calibres unless you are prepared to go very slowly.
This "universal" product could be improved if it had a number of calibre-specific inserts and a grub screw to hold the selected insert in place (as does the Hornady bullet comparator for example). With this modification, one wouldn't need a different funnel for each calibre.
Funnel made for the 50 bmg (14/04/2017)
i bought the funnel specifically for 50 bmg reloading and im impressed the aluminum part looks stamped not machined
the brass adapter is machined and very well done
the large stick power flowes fast through the wide hole in bottom of the funnell
demitions are
diameter of funnel exit (where the chell fits into) 0.570 in
dimater of funnel opening 2.442 inches
the diameter of the funnel at bottom is around 0.400 cant measure exactly
Great!(10/09/2016)
I really like these funnels better than the plastic ones. This is my third and won't be my last. The caliber specific ones fit perfectly and even the multi-caliber ones are a good fit. ( Though you may need to hold them in place where the fitted ones stay on there own. )
Probably the best thing about these is that they don't have the static electricity buildup like some (all) the plastic funnels do.
Excellent quality(01/08/2013)
I load .204 Ruger. Machined funnel sits around case neck very well. Inner surface is ridged, so powder flows very well. Only failures to fill have been my fault (too much case lube left inside case neck). Cases must be in a tray, as the funnel makes the little .204 ruger cases top-heavy. Should last a lifetime, and I do not think I will ever need to replace it. I could have saved much money with a simple plastic funnel and .20cal adaptor if I was clever?
Great Funnel(19/04/2012)
This is the only funnel that works well with the 22 Hornet. All the others I have tried are too big to work well and spill powder everywere. I plan to get the larger one for my black powder rifle since it is alluminum and will not spark.
Great Product(04/05/2012)
This is my secret weapon reloading .223 since most other funnels are too big for the small opening. The funnel balances right on top as perfect as can be.
Almost Perfect(09/06/2012)
I like the weight and the fit of the funnel to the .22 brass. However when using very fine grain powder like the new CFE223, some of the powder gets caught in the junction of the aluminum to the brass portion of the funnel. You might have to tap the funnel slightly to make sure you dump all the powder into the cartridge case. Other bigger grain powders and extruded powders are no problem. This is the best funnel for the .22 that I have found.
BUY This They fit and stay put(26/06/2012)
How did I get by without this funnel OR WHY did I try to do it without THIS funnel.. The funnel works great and is the best fit of any funnel I have ever tried. when you are doing a lot of loads that are not your run of the mill loads.. Get this funnel. If you want to just load a few to hunt with,, then you will be glad because this funnel fits on the neck and will STAY there while you weigh the powder and fill the case. Ball Powders, or Extruded powders, I have not had a problem with either one spilling. Its great to sometimes load 10 or 20 rds for a hunt and this funnel shines. Wrap it in a dryer sheet after you use it and I have never had and static problems even when I forget to do this. You will want one for each of your favorite calibers.
Best on market(26/07/2012)
Solved the static cling problem I had with plastic lunnels.
Amazing(30/12/2013)
This funnel is great. It does exactly as it advertises. I'm not one to put down other products, but I was having some serious static issues with the RCBS powder funnel. As soon as this funnel arrived at my door I did a small batch and didn't have any spillage or static electricity in the funnel. If you are on the fence between this and another funnel, I'd choose this. You won't need anything else.
Wonderful product(07/01/2014)
This is so much better than the plastic universal fit funnels. Sits perfectly on the case, and no static build-up to collect your powder on the way through. Worth every cent.
Worth every dime.(08/08/2016)
I use progressive presses to reload pistol cases and have only recently started reloaded rifle cases in .223 caliber using single stage presses. Getting the powder into the case proved to be a challenge until I tried this funnel. I had issues with static and unsteady hands. Now I just put the funnel onto the case, place it under the powder dispenser and crank the handle. No static cling and every grain goes into the case. If I reload another rifle caliber, I'll be sure to buy any funnel for that caliber. . .Worth every dime. . .
