815421025200 The ATLAS S-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision Handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the S-ONE line of handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, providing the perfect handguard for your lightweight build. Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards. Actual Handguard Lengths: 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7", 15" -- Aero Precision rail lengths measure from end to end. This is the point of contact at the receiver to the end of the last picatinny slot at the muzzle. Available in M-LOK profiles with 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7" and 14.94 (Actual Length 15") options. ATLAS The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation. All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard. LIGHTWEIGHT BY DESIGN M-LOK Handguard Weights: 7.3" - 4.86 oz / 9.3" - 5.47 oz / 10.3" - 6.0 oz / 12.7" - 7.00 oz / 15" - 7.95 oz Mounting Hardware Weight: 1.9 oz (same across all S-ONE Handguard options) FEATURES: Front and rear picatinny rail Eliminated center of top rail for weight reduction Indexing grooves in 12:00 position for positive grip control Quick disconnect sling socket at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions Compatible with low profile gas blocks 1.3" Inside diameter 1.5" Outside diameter Compatible with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels NOT Compatible with M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receivers ATLAS Handguards are designed to match seamlessly with Aero's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. Additionally, they are compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers as well. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. Save when you buy them as a combo. Please note: The ATLAS Handguards are NOT compatible with Aero's M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver.

The ATLAS S-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision Handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the S-ONE line of handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, providing the perfect handguard for your lightweight build. Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards.   Actual Handguard Lengths: 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7", 15" -- Aero Precision rail lengths measure from end to end. This is the point of contact at the receiver to the end of the last picatinny slot at the muzzle.   Available in M-LOK profiles with 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7" and 14.94 (Actual Length 15") options.   ATLAS   The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation.   All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard.   LIGHTWEIGHT BY DESIGN M-LOK Handguard Weights: 7.3" - 4.86 oz / 9.3" - 5.47 oz / 10.3" - 6.0 oz / 12.7" - 7.00 oz / 15" - 7.95 oz Mounting Hardware Weight: 1.9 oz (same across all S-ONE Handguard options) FEATURES: Front and rear picatinny rail Eliminated center of top rail for weight reduction Indexing grooves in 12:00 position for positive grip control Quick disconnect sling socket at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions Compatible with low profile gas blocks 1.3" Inside diameter 1.5" Outside diameter Compatible with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels NOT Compatible with M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receivers ATLAS Handguards are designed to match seamlessly with Aero's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. Additionally, they are compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers as well. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. Brownells USA Solid & light handguard-HEAVY barrel nut 27/08/2018

I purchased the 12 inch guard in black to be used with a 14.5 inch barrel. Machining was top notch, no sharp edges and all parts needed for install were included. Fit & finish were great and rail looks great with Aero upper & lower. I was surprised that the guard is pushed as slimline, and has a large portion of the rail removed for weight reduction yet this ships with a barrel nut that is so HUGE. I messaged Aero on this and would love to see a new nut that still allows for S-One attachment yet weighs 1/2 as much. Overall a very solid rail, and a great attachment mechanism. Would buy again, and would consider other brands more seriously based on total installed weight (rail+nut)

Very easy to install this handguard. I removed my front A2 sight which was the most time consuming part of the install.
