right tool for the job(20/10/2009)
I was asked to change 5 AR barrels by one customer. I did one with out this product was very hard to accomplish. This paid its way and could not have made it easier.
One flash hider could not be removed with this wrench as it was to thick to fit on the flats.
"Would buy again, worth the price"(02/03/2010)
Heavy duty, easy to use. Handle gives plenty of leverage to loosen/tighten barrel nut. Made installing a free float tube a painless experience.
only works as barrel wrench(31/03/2010)
Beefy wrench but only fits on the barrel nut. Notch for flash hider doesnt fit and appears the wrench flash hider notch wasnt machined square,it has a slight angle.I will have to fix this myself. I tried on a Bushmaster,Stag, and S&W M&P 15, so I know for sure the wrench is the problem.

This wrench has only 3 contact points to install or remove a barrel. Look for a wrench that has more than that.. I was able to shear off most of the "stops"on a WOA barrel nut.. Oh also the 1/2' drive for the torque wrench was too tight..
Smith Enterprise Wrench is great(13/10/2010)
Changed out a barrel and flash hider without any problems. Everything seams to be to spec.
Good Hight Quality Tool(09/09/2011)
Not much can be said about it, it works fine and fits up perfectly. I added a bit of paracord around my handle to make it a bit easier to hold on to.
Not The Wrench For AR .223/5.56(23/01/2012)
This wrench is big and strong. It also has notches for the flash hider, A2, and PWS Compensator that are too small to use. I had to file the sides of the notches to open them enough to fit. I also had to grind the width at the notches to make then narrow enough to fit the flats. A disappointment, but with the filing and grinding I got it to work.
Heavy duty(22/05/2012)
Fits and works fine for everything I have used it for.
You can make it work....(16/05/2013)
I had to take my angle grinder to the opening to get it to fit my BCM Compensator...for the price I would think they'd send out a better product...
Almost...but not quite(12/06/2013)
The wrench does a fine job on the barrel nut, but if you have a muzzle device with a crush washer you need to watch out - the wrench is thicker than the standard A2 "birdcage" flash hider, and if it's mounted with a crush washer then the wrench won't fit properly. If you're not planning on keeping the flash hider, or don't mind getting it dinged up, then you can place the wrench across the flats at a diagonal (not perpendicular to the bore) and it'll work fine, but it will mar your flash hider.
Other than that the wrench is rock-solid. The 3-pin setup for the barrel nut is excellent and the pins are deep enough that you don't need a third hand to get the nut off.
GOOD WRENCH(10/12/2013)
I needed another barrel wrench and was tired of the weak and cheap ones, This is one tough wrench. It easily removed flash hiders and barrel nuts. I have not had an issue with it, unlike others. The torque wrench fits precisely. It has fit most of the flash hiders I do, others I do with a crows foot and then torque. No complaints. It serves the purpose for which it was Purchased, and should last my lifetime! Don't over power it or you will be sorry, plenty beefy! Always use a good torque wrench W/Proper torque value.
Not too sure about this tools yet(03/03/2014)
I am new to the AR15, so recently have purchased a bunch of tools. I have a s&w m&p15 sport. not sure if it is the rifle muzzle that is not standard, however, the muzzle slot does not fit around the muzzle, so I cannnot use it to remove it. otherwise seems to be a sturdy tool if I were able to use it. since I can't yet remove the muzzle, I can't remove the FSP, barrel nut, etc to put on my Omega-x 7.
Excellent Barrel Nut Wrench(30/03/2014)
This is the sturdiest barrel nut wrench I have seen! The wrench itself is thick and stout, so you know it can handle the large amount of torque you're going to apply to your barrel nut. The wrench engaged my barrel nut perfectly and never slipped off, unlike some wrenches that I have used in the past. I would recommend this as the go to wrench for removing and reinstalling your barrel nut. HOWEVER, I don't recommend it for muzzle devices. Like others have stated, it its too wide to properly install a flash hider without damaging your crush washer. It can also be a little too tight to fit over some standard muzzle devices. I resort to using another tool for that purpose, and keep this guy for barrel nuts only.
