Modification needed (16/04/2016)

Used on 80% JMT polymer lower, which is DPMS compliant. I had to file down top of the medium beaver tail significantly in order for the pistol grip to fit. Perhaps it is designed for newer DMPS II compliant 308 receivers. If so, it could have been stated better in the item description.

I am happy with every aspect of this grip.

Excellent fit on DPMS LR308 (11/03/2015)

I previously had the MIAD grip designed for AR 15s that had to utilize a spacer to fill in the gap between the top of the grip's back strap and the LR308's lower receiver..The texture of the grip is somewhat smooth and does not have a textured or tacky feel to it. This grip, with the interchangeable back straps works, looks and fits great on the DPMS LR 308. In the event you need to change a back strap you can do so without having to remove the grip which is a nice feature.

Design Flaw (12/07/2015)

I purchased this MIAD Grip kit thinking this was a decent value and very new and decent design Magpul came up with. The interchangeable front and rear straps till I tried to install it on my DPMS lower and straps on the rear that curve up at the top DO NOT lay flat with the lower receiver at the top it make the grip ride up and look uneven. This is a poor design the other straps work just fine the ones that don't curve that came with this. Brownells service was excellent and shipped the merchandise out timely so a thumbs up to them but Magpul on this you get 2 stars it's as simple as that.

Great Grip (09/09/2015)

Great product. The reason I only gave it a 4 star was after I installed it on the Rifle and went to the range the storage plug in the bottom of the grip kept popping out. Easy fix I just had to file some plastic flashing from the latch and now it engages the body and no more problems
