When Every Ounce Counts; The Strength Of Steel Without The Weight
One-piece construction blends the ring and base into a single unit. Eliminating the ring/base joint not only keeps weight to a minimum, it provides a stronger mount. Each ring cap is 5⁄8" wide, with four, TORX screws, to keep large scopes from slipping or shifting. Designed by Mel Forbes of New Ultralight Arms.

The BEST I've found for 10/22's. 01/05/2014
I've installed these rings on 5 or 6 guns now. These are the nicest looking and best working scope mounts I have found for 10/22's if you want a nice traditional look and you're sick of seeing miles of picatinny rail on every gun you own. They are offset so you can reverse each one to get good positioning on the scope tube (as close to the occular and objective lenses as possible while staying away from the erector tube area), they are very well finished, easy to install, line up perfectly and are very sturdy. Order the MEDIUM height for any scope with an objective between 51 and 57 mm. Order LOW height for scopes 50 mm and under. Good shootin'!!

Perfect 23/01/2014
Mounting a Leupold 6.5-20x40 on a Savage 12 BJTV w/ thumbhole stock and needed the scope as low as possible. These low extended rings were THE PERFECT solution. Scope is now EXACTLY where I wanted it.
I have 4 sets of Talley rings on 4 separate rifles and could not ask for better rings. Best rings for the dollar out there.

Delightfully clean 10/22 scope mounts 10/08/2013
These scope mounts for the Ruger 10/22 are absolutely elegant. Let me share some background info that can help make this relevant to everyone who appreciates 10/22s.
I love 10/22s -- at the moment I have five. I tweak and tune the daylights out of them for both performance and appearance. I'm fond of the contour of the 10/22 receiver and feel Ruger's furnished mount base spoils the lines. For this reason I've made small one-piece bases for my halographic red dots and small two-piece bases for scopes and tube-type red dots -- all starting from Ruger's base.
With the Talley bases, this is no longer necessary. They cover a minimum of the top of the receiver. They're beautifully made and finished. And they hold a scope tightly without marring the finish.
My only wish is that they were also available in a silver finish. They'd look spectacular with my silver Ultradot red dots on my stainless10/22s. I might buy additional black ones and send them off to be reanodized silver. I like them that much.

GREAT RINGS 10/01/2013
THEY ARE TRUE, LITE, AND HAVE TORX SCREWS SO THEY CAN BE REMOVED AND TIGHTENED MANY TIMES IF NEEDED. 25#S OF TORQUE IS PLENTY. GREAT PRODUCT.

Excellent Product 09/07/2012
These are the best rings I have found for my custom Mauser rifles. The finish is good enough I do not need to polish and re-finish to make them match the Matte finish of Leupold scopes. They are better than some of the more costly rings I have bought and have built in bases so one less thing to buy.

I used these to install a Bushnell Elite scope on my Browning A bolt. The rings fit perfectly and are very secure.

Great Rings! 23/08/2011
Used this to mount a varmint scope (42mm objective) on my Anschutz 1732 in .22 Hornet. Height was perfect for this application, leaving only a few millimeters of space between the barrel and scope. A bigger objective scope would require higher rings. Easy to install, well made, and rock solid mount and ring combination.

A-Bolt LW Scope Mount 20/11/2010
I used these to mount a 2.5 X 8 Leupold on a 20" Micro Hunter. They're extremely light, but appear to be rugged. The fit is perfect, the scope lined up very square, no need for lapping. I torqued the base screws @ 30 inch/lbs and a touch of blue loctite. The ring screws were evenly torqued @ 22.5. They compliment the clean lines of the little carbine without sacrificing quality. It placed the scopes objective about 1/4" above the barrel, and allowed more than an ample amount of placement for eye relief. I'm sold.

Great quality, not very 28/09/2010
Wanted to replace the medium-height rings that came with my Tikka T3 in 6.5x55 with some that were stronger and lower. I prefer to use a 2-7x32 scope and like to mount it nice and low. The Talley "low" rings, while very strong and well-made, appear to have enough room for a 40mm objective lens scope. They don't appear to be any lower than the factory rings. Other than that (and some embarrassing typos on the packaging), they are great.

Perfect fit for short action 07/03/2010
I mounted these on a Winchester Ranger short action and the fit is perfect. I tried a few other brands, two-piece bases overlapped the action area and one-piece bases did not fit (the ranger action is a bit shorter than a standard short action). They look great on the gun and alignment was right on. No shims required.

Long-term Test 16/01/2010
I put a set of these on my Tikka in .338 Winchester magnum several years ago after the "B" brand failed to hold the scope. My hunting load sends a 225 gr bullet out the muzzle at 2900 fps over my Oehler chrono; there is recoil. The Talley lightweights hold the Zeiss 3.5-10X scope absolutely rock solid year after year of hard hunting use in Montana. This is a quality product.

THE BEST - BAR NONE 07/12/2009
I have sixteen scoped guns and have experience with a number of name brand manufacturers of bases and rings. Tally makes a product that is simple to install and, at least in my case, needed no shimming or adjustments to align the rings which I check with a Sinclair Scope Alignment Tool. So far I have mounted three scopes with Tally mounts with no problem. Nuff said.

Great Product 07/10/2009
I was sort of skeptical about how these would work (no allowance for adjustments), but I heard a good report about Talley, so I gave them a shot. Great fit and finish, and no adjustment needed. In fact, the positional tolerances on these things are so good, that my scope needed less adjustment than with any other type of mounting system I've used lately. Note: For the medium height setup, a 40mm scope is the max. diameter for the Marlin 336.
