Great loader!(01/05/2012)
These presses are great! They are adjustable for different length shotshells and come in several calibers. I personally own one in 12 ga. and have loaded thousands of rounds for clay shooting since I purchased it a few years ago. I honestly haven't experienced anything negative with this product - it is easy to adjust (actually comes out the box ready to use); the powder transfer bar is easy to swap out; you can also use the optional larger qantity powder and shot supply hoppers. I highly recommend this press to anyone wanting to have more creative control over their shotshell loading.
Awesome!(21/05/2012)
I have reloaded literally thousands of .410 shells over the years with almost no problems. There are other presses that can reload faster, but I regularly run 7-9 boxes per hour, which is a lot more than I can shoot.
First MEC 600 Jr. - 1965(25/08/2012)
My father bought a MEC 600 Jr. in early 1966, and we loaded a lot of 12 Ga. shells for practice shooting. Back then, we loaded both cardboard and plastic shells, and the plastic ones were much different from today's cases. Wads were cardboard and fiber and all shot was Lead without plastic collars. I have the same MEC 600 Jr. today and it works flawlessly, although I have had to adjust it for newer reloading components.
Origional instruction booklet was copyrighted in 1965 and that was the year the MEC 600 Jr. first came out. In continuous production for 47 years. How many others can say that?
Still going strong after all these years(18/02/2013)
This is an easy to use and fun to use press. My dad bought it in the early 70's and I am loading with it still today and teaching my boys the joys of doing something yourself and how to save some money doing it. Simple to set up and will load a box of shells in minutes. Looking to get another in 20 gauge.
Great loader for target shooter(01/09/2017)
I purchased my MEC 600 while I was in college in 1969 and have never had any problem with it. Totally reliable and economical tool to make shooting affordable. Highly recommend.
