The Modern Advancement Series deals with the progression of equipment and scientific knowledge, verified with live fire testing in the lab. In an industry filled with advertising, myths, and old wives tales. The Modern Advancement series gives the shooter the raw data allowing them to make an informed decision on if something fits their particular needs, never influenced by marketing. This book documents the ongoing R&D taking place in the AB Lab, and also consists of mythbusting cetain topics. The 2nd Volume covers a lot of new landmark studies. Not being influenced by marketing hype, or advertising stigma, our lab is free to publish unbiased raw results. In this book you will find a study by Nick Vitalbo that sets the precedence for how Laser Range Finders should be tested. Included are the results of nearly 2 dozen LRF devices, all tested to the same standard. If you are interested in a detailed comparison of how different LRF devices compare, an individual results table is provided for every LRF tested showing its performance on different targets. You will also find a comprehensive study on rimfire ammunition. Which goes over barrel, and twist rate effects on MV, MV Variation, BC, and BC Variation. Aside from numerous advanced hand loading topics you will also find a study on Barrel Technology. Specifically Traditional vs Carbon Wrapped Barrels, and how they performed.
