613548078488 Checkering Rifflers are used by many professional checkerers and stockmakers instead of bent needle files for pointing-up checkering, cleaning up damaged or old checkering, and border work. The No. 131 we recommend and carry has a full 3-square shape, cutting a perfect 60° angle. File teeth meet exactly square on corners, will cut finest hairline cut at bottom of diamond grooves. Has approximately 35° up-bend at tip. Exceedingly nice to work with.SPECS: 6" (12.7cm) long. "V" is 60°. Approx. 1" (2.5cm) edge.

I've used variations of these rifflers for 40 plus years. The ones I purchased recently are by far the most precisely made I've ever seen or used regardless of price. The cutting face comes out to a true knife edge that is uniform throughout the radius. I bought 3 and they are all of the same high quality. Refreshing to see the quality in a product go up now days!
