Not for Aluma Hide 2(25/09/2010)
Junk, dont use them on Aluma-Hide 2 they clog in 10 sec. Literally.
Replaces busted nozzles(23/10/2010)
Many of my aluma-hyde II cans come with useless nozzles. These make for a suitable replacement but can fail just as fast if not cleaned properly.
These work fine for me.(21/10/2015)
Yeah, these clog up fast... if you don't shake the can adequately prior to use. Alumahyde is thick paint and the nozzles clog up quickly if you aren't careful. Shake the can well before use and then hold the can upside down and spray until no more paint comes out after use. Do this every time and your nozzles will last much longer.
To the rescue(15/02/2011)
These nozzles save the day when you are useing spray on stock finishes or bake on metal finishes. "cleaning" of the original, cloged up nozzles almost never works, and it is much easier to simply through out the old and stick one of these inexpensive replacements on.
Horrible (08/06/2016)
I really like Alumahyde 2, but Brownells needs to sell better nozzles. After a couple sprays, they start to clog. I threw them out after each coat of paint, but some didn't last a whole coat before they needed to be replaced. If they start to clog they will splatter large dots and you'll have to hope the paint spreads or strip the paint and start over. However, you can feel when they're about to splatter. So, if you're extremely careful and replace the nozzles as often as possible, you'll be fine. My Alumahyde project came out great, but the Duracoat aerosol turned out better so this gets 3 stars.
