Highly visible, fiber optic front sight features a unique, interchangeable mounting post system for easy installation on most major brands of shotguns with plain or ribbed barrels. Pre-tapped, steel sight base accepts five, included mounting posts to accommodate shotguns drilled and tapped for 6-48, 5-40 or 3-56, plus the popular 3mm x .5 or 3mm x .6 metric sizes. Bright, red, fiber optic LitePipe provides superior light transmission from dawn ‘til dusk, perfect for low light hunting conditions, as well as competition and self defense guns where fast sight acquisition is paramount. Requires drilling and tapping on shotguns with factory, press-fit bead sights.

SPECS: Sight Base - Steel, blue finish. .204” (5.2mm) long x .137” (3.5mm) wide. Bead - Polymer, red. .362” (9.2mm) long x .106” (2.7mm) diameter. Sight Height - .167” (4.2mm) high from top of barrel to top of bead. 6-48 fits Remington, Weatherby, SKB and Ithaca. 3-56 fits Browning Citori target guns, Benelli, Beretta, Ruger, and Winchester. 5-40 fits Mossberg. 3mm x .5 fits Browning Gold and Citori field guns. 3mm x .6 fits Browning Citori Hunter.

Great value in fiber optic (28/10/2009)

I really like this product. My father has an old Mossberg bolt action shotgun with a missing front sight and a messed up mounting hole. With the different mounting post supplied with the sight I was able to drill the barrel with the proper size mount hole and match up a post. You will need to use thread locker with this sight both to mount the proper post in the sight then to install on the gun. I used high temp red. It took me about 30 minutes to install. The fiber optic is very bright and gives a good sight picture. I think this is a very good value in a sight.

Good Sight for the Money (16/02/2010)

Installed two of these on home-D and 3-gun pump action 590/590A1 Mossbergs.
- Easy to install
- Good visibility in normal/bright light
- Poor visibility in low light
- Wish the sight was a little bit higher for better target aquisition

"Simple and effective" (05/03/2012)

I have these sights on 2 of my personal shotguns.a Franchi Alcione SL and a Franchi VarioMax 3 1/2" magnum and have installed them on many others. I like that I can have 1 sight system that will work on many applications.It's a good product for the money and I've never had one shoot loose.
