Definitely recommended

Works on P250 too 02/10/2018

I bought this for both my P320 and my P250. I can confirm that this works very well on my Sig P250 Full Frame also.

NOT for the X5, but still great. 13/09/2018

First...this was designed for the standard P320 slide.

If your looking for a threaded barrel for your P320 X5, this is not compatible. This barrel is much thinner and narrower in diameter then the stock bull barrel and leaves a large gap between the barrel and slide opening. The locking breach tab also does not fit into the slide inset. This leaves a 1/8" gap at the ejection port, and you wont be able to insert the recoil spring.

The only Sig option I have seen for a threaded barrel on your X5 is to get a P320 conversion kit that will then accept this barrel or comes with the compact threaded barrel.

Otherwise, the only non-Sig option for a threaded barrel for the X5 is from a certain well known custom barrel maker that cannot be named in this review as the review terms Bar me from mentioning them. <.<

Definitely recommended

Initial Fit Was Snug, But Worn In Easily 28/07/2018

This is an initial impression; have not put any rounds through, and is simply to share my thoughts and initial concerns, and how it turned out well so far.

Bought this for my Norsso Vector slide. Was at first a bit worried when the barrel would not slide all the way home when test fitting (just the barrel and the slide, not installed on the grip module). There was a clearance issue at the very end of the barrel hood - the top part that seats just above the firing pin hole. Test fitted on the factory Sig slide, and was bit better (seated all the way home, but was rough sliding out of home position). However, after hand cycling it in and out of home in the factory slide, it loosened up and felt as smooth as my factory barrel with about 500 rounds thru it. Did the same with the Norsso slide, and is now smooth as well. You can see how the nitride finish was made a bit shiny on the sides of the the tab that comes off the back of the barrel hood. The reflection looks like bare metal, but it has not worn thru. This is only after hand cycling however.

I do plan on sending it out for NP3/Nickel-Teflon coating. Bought to host a suppressor, planning on a Rugged Obsidian 9. Will do a review after I've gotten a number of rounds under the belt with this barrel, and how it works with the suppressor. The barrel is crowned. Was a bit disappointed that the barrel cap that came with it did not have a o-ring like their individually available barrel cap has. The one that does come with the barrel thread on either way. Will note if there is an issue of the standard cap (non o-ring equipped) coming loose after rounds.
