The Sinclair Driver and Caseholder system is designed to hold and turn your case while you are neck turning, cleaning case necks or case mouth deburring. The caseholders and driver are machined from stainless steel, and the driver has a ¼" hex shaft for use in power screwdrivers or low speed drill motors. The driver is universal to the Sinclair system and will work with all the caseholders. Our Universal Caseholder enables you to use this system with our Sinclair Stainless Shell Holders listed on page 29. Select the appropriate shell holders for your favorite cartridges.. The Universal Caseholder works with the same #05-200 driver as our original caseholders, and it is available as a “kit” with the Driver and Universal Caseholder or individually for those who already have a driver. Remember to order the Sinclair Stainless Shell Holders for your Universal Caseholder if you don’t already have them. This system is a great, inexpensive way to speed up the neck turning process. Also works great for many other case prep operations.**NOTE: When ordering case holders, you will need to order a case holder driver as they are sold separately.**

Excellent Time saver (13/03/2011)

This is a must have if you get the neck turning tools. It not only makes the job faster but you get a much smoother finish on your brass. Don't forget to get the Lee autoprime shell holders kit for it as well.

Can't clean entire length of case (28/03/2011)

For cleaning cases with #0000 steel wool, this tool leaves a strip of powder residue around the bottom of the case. That's because the Lee Shell Holder is held inside (and below) the top of the universal holder. I prefer the Sinclair Driver Style Caseholders because they hold the case further out so my steel wool can reach the entire outside of the case.

I like to clean powder residue from my cases by chucking them up in my hand drill and using #0000 steel wool. Since the Lee Shell Holder is held inside (and below) the top of this Universal Holder, I can't reach all the way down the side of the case. A strip of residue is left above the case head. I prefer the Sinclair Driver Style Case Holders because they expose the entire length of the case. My steel wool can then reach all the way down the side of the case.

I like my brass to look as good as it performs and this tool helps me to polish my cartridges. I place a cartridge into the caseholder and the driver into my cordless screwdriver. I then take some scotch bright and hold it around the case and turn on the screwdriver. In just seconds the case shines better than new!

I have been using a hand neck turner and caseholder and decided to try this item. What a great little tool! I use it with a battery powered mini-screwdriver and my Dewalt shop drill. With either one, my necks turn out more consistent and smoother than hand turning those necks. Takes half the time too.

The unit is well made and robust. The drill bit holder is a screw on the other end of it that screws into the caseholder proper. The end of this screw is rounded. This rounded end fits into the primer pocket hole,and presses against it. This aligns the case and holds it securely.

When used with a hand neck turner the case will usually wobble about a bit as the drill turns but as long as the mandrel on the neck turner is a snug fit inside the case neck, the neck turns out consistent and smooth. ( I check the concentricity with a case neck gauge)

Not often you run into a product that can described as "perfect" but this is as close as you can get. Highly recommend it.

Superior to Sinclair's other caseholder. (28/03/2011)

For cleaning cases with #0000 steel wool, this tool is better than the other Sinclair tool which uses Lee shell holders. This tool exposes the entire outside of the case so your steel wool can reach all of the powder residue.
