It's okay, but... (18/04/2018)

I got this expecting it to fit my Mossberg 500. It installed fine, but the thing is too long. The pump won't slide back completely preventing shells to be fed into the chamber. Since I dont want to cut my pump slide shorter, I ended up putting it on upside down. Now that it's out of the way of the pump, it's now making the grip slightly awkward. Don't make my mistake in assuming that it will fit what it says it will and find something better.

Good but some flaws. (07/09/2018)

Overall i would rate 3.5 stars out of 5. I have experience with both models Tacstar side saddles and wanted something more slimline and i thought this was perfect. Mounted fine and is holding up. However my one problem is that when i got it, it was monkey tight. The side saddle was ridiculously hard to get shells out of, on advice of a video i saw i double wrapped the 12 gauge shells in a plastic bag and inserted into the side saddle, after a few days it loosen up okay, but it has variance in the amount of force to pull shells out now. Like the middle is tougher to pulls shells out of compared to the ones on the ends. I'm sure i could tinker with it but If it didn't have this problem it would be a 5 star product.

Awesome accesoory (06/12/2017)

Great item, saw it on a coworker's 870. It's very Mesa Tactical-esque without the price. The rubberized loops are nice, very tight with some shells though. Overall, a really great product and addition to my 870!
