Tritium/Fiber Optic (TFO) technology combines the self-illuminating properties of Tritium with the light-gathering capabilities of fiber optics to ensure fast sight acquisition in any light conditions from daylight to complete darkness. Precision-machined, steel body provides excellent strength to handle the rigors of combat or competition. Low-profile design prevents holster snagging. Fits factory dovetails; rear sight includes setscrew for extra-secure installation on slide. Sold in front/rear pairs.

DO NOT EXPECT AN EASY INSTALLATION(01/04/2015)
SOOO>> was waiting for tritium sights to come out for my Glock 42, as CCW is it's primary job. Ordered this set, listed for this exact model. I have changed sights on several Glocks, have used Trijicon brand before. I WISH I HAD CHOSEN THAT BRAND AGAIN! The front sight in the TruGlo set comes with the expected miniature threaded fastener to hold it in place, As it turns out, the small, difficult to handle fastener is too long, bottoming out in the threaded hole on the bottom of the front sight before it exerts any clamping force. Result- front sight flops loosely around. Solution is to shorten the fastener, right? Hope you have tools ordinarily owned by Jewelers or Watchmakers. I made do with an ancient set of parallel jaw pliers, magnifying goggles, and a medium India stone, and a fine India stone. Bright lighting also a must. The required modification took a ridiculous amount of time on the tiny, hard to handle part. Why the manufacturer failed to provide the appropriately short fastener to begin with is a question that remains to be answered. Not worth the trouble when another brand is available, in my opinion.
Easy to intall, Easy to See(22/04/2016)
These sights install easy if you have the right tools. If you do not have the proper Glock rear sight tool or the miniature hex tool for the front sight, then you will struggle. Otherwise, these go on easy, and look great during the day and at night. I recommend these to anyone with a Glock 42 or 43, you will not be disappointed!
Excellent day/night combat sight set(18/09/2011)
I am a master gunsmith and ex Army Ranger. Of all the sights have used in the past on my Glock 21c, this sight set blows all others out of the water. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a day/night combat sight set for your Glock.
Really Visible(07/09/2009)
All I can say is WOW !I shoot a Glock 19 in IDPA competition and was having trouble seeing the standaard factory Glock sights in bright sun light. A friend that has been shooting for many years showed me his with the Green front & Yellow rear sights so I ordered a set and installed them. Now I see them clearly in all lighting conditions and my scores have vastly improved. These things jump out at you in bright sunlight and they glow dimmly in pitch black darkness and although dim just bright enough to see clearly but not bright enough to ruin your night vision.I have a set of Trigicon Tritium night sights on a Sig and they are too bright in the dark so I am planning on switching over to these.I like the green front sight and the dim yellow rear sights as that makes it easier for me to pick them up in low light.Wish I had these a long time ago.
Best sights by far(25/04/2010)
The factory night sights on my G17 went dim so I decided to replace them. These sights ar by far the best ive seen. Daytime they are bright and easy to locate, at night they glow bright but not bright enough to give away your position if viewed from the side or top.
For Me, BEST SIGHTS EVER(12/06/2010)
I wear multi-focal contact lenses and after 40 minutes of shooting in an indoor range, I have really lost the sight picture with the various branded tritium only sights. My target performance started beautifully and ended all over the place. I bought these at a Ft Lauderdale gun show and they installed them in 10 minutes as I watched--just like the other glock sights, nothing different. They are bright in the dim light of the range, and I like the non-distracting yellow rears because the green front draws my eye right to where i have to be. Now, from start to finish, my eyes do not seem fatigued and my groups are nice and tight! I highly recommend these!
Great Sights for Old Eyes(26/05/2011)
These sights are easy to see and are very bright in the daytime and glow at night. You need a sight pusher to make sure you dont damage the sight.
Great sights in all light levels(03/03/2012)
These sights create an uncomplicated sight picture that looks the same in all light levels. This is great, as I use fiber optic sights to shoot competitively but also conceal carry.
I like the green front and yellow rear, because the green appears brighter which makes it a bit easier for me to track it.
My only complaint is that the front sight feels slightly flimsy. While this is a bit troublesome for me, it hasn't yet caused me any problems so I won't fault the product.
Bang!(03/10/2012)
I really like how fast you aquire these sights. They're even better in bright light. I can't say enough about them and follow up shots are easier too!
trash(26/03/2013)
This is probably the worst sights I ever had on anything. Here is the deal: the rear sight is OK, has a set screw and is otherwise functional. However the front sight does NOT fit snugly into the oval opening in the slide, is is quite loose. I used first a high-strenght epoxy to help ease its "looseness", and set the screw under it with Loctite. Eventually after about 5000 rounds it was loose again. Took it off, cleaned it, de-greased it and set it this time with superglue between the sight and slide and Loctite on the screw again. Not only was it loose once more, but after a total of about 8000 rounds the fibre just fell out. That was the last straw for me. The design is inherently flawed - a thin, small screw is supposed to hold a very loose fitting sight in place that has its centre of gravity far away from the screw. This is very noticeable as the sight was constantly "banging" on the slide, damaging itself and loose some of its black finish where it impacted the slide. Now these impacts come from 1/100'th of an inch that it moves, this little tiny bit of looseness. Add to that the fact that the tritium capsules are not the brightest on the market, plus the fibre part of the sight gets dirty from powder residue and thus does not illuminate as well, and neither is easy to clean. All in all the front post of this sights set is completely unfit for purpose. Looks and feels fine just as long as you don't shoot the gun its mounted on. And yes, I did chose the correct sight for the correct gun, correct generation of glock as well so it had no reason not to work, at least on paper.
JUNK!!!!!! DO NOT BUY(15/02/2014)
These sights are a joke. I installed them on my glock 22, they are horrible I can't see the front sight in the dark at all. The rear sights are bright but you're going to need a big hammer to get them on. I will be taking them off and placing them in the trash.
very practical sights(21/08/2012)
have them mounted on 3 glocks and ordered 2 more sets, very bright in daylight and equal to other night sights at dark. well built and seem to stand up. one set is on a .45acp glock
Great Sight(01/05/2014)
I have had a set of these sights on a carry gun for about 4 years now. They work perfectly and target acquisition is fast. When your eyes start failing with age, these sights make all the difference in the world. I have changed all my Glocks over to either these or the F/O only sight. TruGlo did it right with these sights. Perfect fit every time. Highly recommend. These sights get banged around a lot and have NEVER broken The pipe breaking in either the TFO or FO is a myth. As a LE armorer, I have installed many of these with never an issue.
Careful Installation = Great Sights(28/01/2010)
These sights show up great compared to nonfiber optic sights, as if they are lit up during day. Glow plenty bright at night, not as bright as standard night sights, but plenty bright. Only issue is these sights A.Sometimes fall out, so you need to epoxy or nail polish them in place, B. Can have problems with gun solvent, C. Break easily during install. Make sure they are installed with sight pusher!!
Great Sights(13/05/2010)
These sights are the best replacement sights that I have seen. As I have gotten older my vision acuity is not as strong and I have found that these sight have improved my sight picture dramatically.
Good, but....(20/05/2010)
I have several sets of these on Glocks. They are easy to see for tired eyes and are the brightest I've found. However, for close to the body carry, they rust easily. I used automotive rust converter to prime them and painted them flat black. Have to touch them up about once a month.
Two Years Old and glowing like new(06/09/2010)
I have had them for 2 years, installed them 2 months ago, and they are outstanding. As a former 10 yr deputy & SWAT Sniper, and 3 yrs with Army Special Forces A Team ... they are worth the money. Use proper tools to install, I have had no rust problems and I wear the glock inside the pants with a TecLok polymar holster,[@] owner and NRA TC / Instructor,
Do not waste your money(08/11/2012)
I shoot competitive and fire about 400 round per week. I have owned three of these, in all cases the fiber fell out after a few months of use. I went to a different brand and have had no problems since.
5 star for purpose 1 star on quality(20/08/2013)
For those that think the filament popping out on these sights is a false report I can assure you it is not! I own several Glock handguns and have these sights installed on four of my handguns. I have had the front sight pop out on TWO of the guns, so for me that's a 50% failure rate. I fortunately found the filaments and reinserted them. Then I did what many of my fellow IDPA shooters have already done and that was to fill the sight recess with clear Gorilla Epoxy.
Why didn't I get into a return war with TruGlo? The answer is simple, the TFO sights are best all around sights I have found. They give you excellent visibility and fast target acquisition during the day, because of the light gathering ability of the fiber optics, and good visibility at night because of the tritium glow in the dark inserts. Unlike most gun sights these are 24 hour sights. The clear epoxy does not hamper the light gathering of the sights in any way and adds a layer of protection to the vials. If I find a better sight those will be on my guns, but at the present the other sight manufactures seem to be happy sitting on their laurels and not filling a need. As for TruGlo they appear to be content in NOT addressing a flaw in their product and offer sights for a very limited number of handguns.
TFO FIBER OPTIC(18/04/2014)
Great during low light and daylight shooting. Not so much, at night.
Great Defensive Night Sight.(19/02/2015)
I picked up a Glock 27, Gen 4, .40 cal to carry mostly at night. The fiber optics are the best of both worlds, light/dark. The old eyeballs ain't what they use to be, so I needed the Tritium. This is not a target pistol for me, but I shoot it regularly at the range at the distance you might expect in a defensive situation. {Point blank to 20 feet} The glow is plenty bright enough to see at night, great sight picture, but it's not so bright that it ruins your night vision and the different colors between the post and blade dots speeds up sight acquisition at night.. . A perfect balance between day & night. I like them so much, I went with a Tru-Glo sight with adjustable illuminated pins on my HOYT compound bow. Quality gear.
Great sight for old eyes(07/07/2015)
I listed myself as "occasional shooter" because there wasn't a better category. I have my own personal shooting range, I own about 10 sets of these sights on both Glocks and Sigs, and I love them. I have had Mep's, Trijicon's, XS, and several others, but I keep coming back to the Tritium TFO because they are easy to see and quickly acquire when your eyes go through the normal aging process. Some do require some minor fitting, but this is easily done with 220 or 400 grit sandpaper on a flat surface like the kitchen counter. Do use a sight pusher, it avoids injury to the sight, is atraumatic and precise. In my opinion, the only shortcoming with the sight is with regard to using cleaning solvents. Bore solvents reportedly can damage the TFO tube, but I picked up a neat cleaning trick on one of the "Master Gunsmith" videos that alleviated this problem. The gunsmith uses 'Simple Green" to clean all of his firearms. I use this exclusively now because it cleans as good or better than other solvents, it is not rough on the skin, it smells good, it is inexpensive, and it doesn't harm the sights. After scrubbing I wash it off with fairly hot tap water and dry it with an air compressor or hair dryer (for those without compressed air). This takes care of what I have found to be the shortcoming of the sight tube. I haven't had any tubes come out of the sight, but a little epoxy should fix that. I would recommend these sights
TFO sights are excellent(04/01/2016)
I am very pleased with the Truglo TFO sights that I just installed on my glock. The installation was not difficult.
They are brighter and easier to see than the factory sights.
