Like all Wolff springs, these for the 1911 Auto in .45, .38 Super or 9mm are the finest, most reliable, longest lasting ones available. The springs of choice for most of the nation's top builders. Except where noted, all recoil springs are supplied with an extra power firing pin spring that keeps the firing pin stop in place and prevents firing pin float ; an addition recommended by pistolsmith Bill Wilson. TYPE B - Factory Replacement Spring For Hardball Loads exactly matches the specs of the original factory spring. Govt. Model does NOT come with extra power firing pin spring. Commander may also be used as an extra power spring for 9mm/.38 Super pistols and comes with an XP firing pin spring.16 lb. Govt. Model Recoil Spring

This spring is what John Browning put in his invention he called the 45 model of 1911. When it's time to replace a spring, reach for an original! I bought this 10 pack to avoid constant orders. These springs are made by WOLFF. They make the best replacement springs on the planet.
