Inside, the cover has an insulating layer of Kevlar (R) that can withstand heat up to 250 degrees Celsius. On the outside it is made of heat-resistant Cordura (R). The shield is threaded onto the silencer and attached by tightening the 3 straps. The muffler cover fits most mufflers.
