Recommended

May not fit milled AK 18/04/2017

Great product, but will not fit "any AK pattern rifle". Does not fit my Arsenal SA 93 milled AK. The tang on the rear of the handguard does not fit into the receiver. If your receiver tang opening is approx. .340" x 1.00" it will not fit. Everything else looks OK for fit. You may be able to change the tang size with a small end mill, but check all other dimensions on your receiver first.

Great product 15/06/2016

This particular handguard does not allow you to have a factory AK sling loop. I wanted the extra protection for my hand from the heat, so I cut mine off. Install was easy and straight forward. Back fits a little snug, but a couple of taps with a hammer seats it. Much more solid than my supplied wood grips. I have an AK Draco pistol and the ridge formed by the lower portion of the handguards makes the firearm much more controllable.
