Smooth, Consistent, Medium-Weight Pull - BIG Improvement Over G.I. Trigger
Hiperfire’s EDT triggers give your AR-15 an upgraded single-stage trigger pull without sacrificing "mil-spec" reliability. All four Enhanced Duty Triggers deliver a medium pull weight of 4.5 or 5.5 lbs. - lighter than a plain G.I. trigger for sure, but safe enough for law enforcement, service rifle competition, and personal defense use. Mechanical advantage built into the EDT trigger geometry gives the lighter-than-mil-spec pull weight, while mil-spec hammer energy is preserved to ensure hard, positive primer strikes. Hiperfire coupled the lighter weight with an overall pull profile that is smooth and consistent, with a clean, decisive break, short over-travel, and a fast reset you can feel and hear, making the EDT a very comfortable "shooter’s" trigger. Single-stage with minimal creep 2 interchangeable hammer springs for 4.5 or 5.5 lb. pull weight SwingFast Hammer Head™ gives unusually fast locktime Extra-power hammer spring for positive hammer strikes without increasing pull weight Self-cleaning - designed to allow debris to fall out to prevent jams & reset problems Fits small-pin (.153") AR-15 lower receivers & AR 308 rifles that use AR-15 triggers Hiperfire offers the EDT trigger in four configurations: Sharp Shooter is the base-model with features listed above and a curved trigger shoe. Heavy Gunner has the curved shoe and even heavier SwingFast hammer than the Sharp Shooter for ultra-reliable hammer strikes. The Designated Marksman has Hiperfire's Duplex Trigger Bow. Place your finger in a high position for a heavier pull and an extra measure of safety to prevent premature discharge under stress. Low position for precise, target-rifle control. Also has extra-weight Swingfast hammer. Enhanced Duty model is beefed up for full-auto select-fire AR-15 / M16 / M4 type rifles carbines; curved shoe. Hiperfire made the EDT trigger line all about choice: you get to choose the type of trigger pull profile that works best for you - without breaking the bank to do it.

Very Disappointing(19/07/2018)
I was very disappointed in this trigger. After installation in a new receiver it is almost exactly like a standard trigger. It is gritty and lots of creep. Mine installed at: 6lb 1oz with the 4-1/2# spring. I can get that with a little work on a stock trigger group. For the price there are definitely better options. They have redesigned the sear/hammer geometry. They claim it's better, I think it's just different. They also claim with this particular trigger you can get "different" pull weights by finger placement, that might be true if you have very small fingers or you don't use a trigger guard.
That guy is just wrong!(02/10/2018)
The previous one star comment is just wrong in my experience. I have this trigger group and it is how it's desrcibed. It's a good trigger group for it's price and standard duty carry. Better than mil spec but don't expect to have a competition trigger either. I have a hiper touch trigger as well and that performs as a 200$ plus trigger. This is a great trigger for the price for standard duty use. Not even a hint of grit. I will buy another one and don't listen to number nuts up above he seems to have limited experience.
