Gives your 700 rifle an oversized bolt knob without requiring permanent modifications to the factory bolt. The ergonomic contour of the Bolt Lift helps you get a positive grip on the bolt knob for faster follow-up shots in all conditions. The reinforced polymer two halves of the kit clamp securely around the bolt handle, secured by a steel Allen screw and two stainless steel pins. Kit includes rubber O-ring spacers to ensure a tight fit on different-sized Remington bolt knobs.

SPECS: Reinforced polymer, black or flat dark earth (FDE). 1½" (3.8cm) long, 1" (2.5cm) dia. Fits Remington 700 bolt knobs. Includes stainless steel mounting hardware, O-rings, and instructions.

Great value and simple install. (29/01/2014)

This was well priced and simple to install. On my Remington tactical 700 bolt no spacers were needed and I did Loctite the screw. Tight fit and now can quickly work the bolt. Got the black knob which matches the bolt finish very well. It clears my scope and goes all the way down without touching the stock. Also it is removable.

This is a solid product that went on in less than 3 minutes. The knob is easy to affix to the factory bolt knob and there is no play in the knob once attached. I would purchase it again.

Had mine on in less than a minute. Doesn't move at all once installed. I didn't put locktight on mine. Clears gun and scope no problem. much easier to grab ahold for quicker and smoother reloads. Comes in a little tin can and received a free window sticker. No brainer purchase. Only 25.00$

Installed on my 700 police. Cannot say anything bad about it because for a drop in part that only cost $30 there is nothing better.

Quick & easy installation on my 15 yr old Rem 700 LTR .223, fit tight enough that neither set of rubber spacer needed - actually had to "tap" the 2 halves together using Brownell's gunsmith hammer with synthetic head to avoid damage to synthetic material. Fit/functions perfectly on rifle, clears Leupold VX III 4.5x14 scope and does not interfere when rapidly cycling bolt closed. Greatly improved function for competition and cold weather predator hunting use

Ordered 2 of these in 2 colors for myself. Gave one to a nephew when he bought himself a Rem700. I installed one in my 300WM. It works great and looks good. Ordered another one for my 308W. I luv it.

Great bolt lift extension (28/11/2015)

I installed this in a R700 short action rifle. It can be done within 15 minutes or so. Everything that is needed to install it is in the box. You just need to know which O-ring rubber to use.

The bolt lift extension allows one to grab the bolt handle fast and/or makes bolt manipulation fast and easy. It gives the bolt a cool appearance.

This is my 3rd buy.

"KRG" Rem. 700 bolt lift - extender (22/12/2016)

I purchased two "KRG" bolt lift extenders for two of my Rem. 700's. One in .223 and the other is a .308. All I can say is these bolt lift extenders are great. Installed in less than 5 minutes and they perform beautifully. Clears both my long range Burris and Vortex scopes with ease. The motion to cycle the bolt has improved 100% over the existing small bolt handle. I was considering sending my bolts away to have them machined to receive a screw on bolt extender. I'm so glad I found these on the Brownell's web site instead. I placed my order in the height of the Christmas / holiday rush. They arrived 6 days later with free S/H offer. I highly recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want to spend a $100 permanently modifying their existing bolt. This product achieves exactly what I was looking for at less than 1/3 the cost of permanently modifying a bolt handle. If I ever sell one of my rifles I can easily remove the extender and use it again on a new firearm. Super product!
