Drop The Mag With A Flick Of The Finger

Speed release eliminates awkward fumbling for the hard-to-operate, recessed, factory release button. Push the large lever down with your trigger finger to easily release the magazine. Lets you keep your eye on the target while quickly changing out your 10/22®’s magazine. Easy, no-gunsmithing installation, with no permanent modifications to your rifle.

SPECS: Aluminum, hardcoat anodized, black. Approximately 2-7⁄8" OAL, 7⁄8" (2.1cm) max. width. ½ oz. (14g) weight.

works great once you get it installed (05/09/2011)

would give this a 5 except the hole for the mag release retaining pin was seriously undersized. Spent a while attempting to install with no success, finally just took the mag release out and tried a test fit with the stock ruger retaining pin. That quickly showed me where the problem was :) I was lucky I had a #30 drill bit around and was able drill out the mag release. Once I did that, everything went together without a hitch. Have put about 1,000 rounds through the rifle since installing it and no problems, works great.

This thing slid right in and was a perfect fit. Nice looking and very easy to use. A huge improvement over the stock release.

The best part? My mags now drop free.

Solid and Tight (25/05/2018)

I recently installed this on my RIA 10/22. I had to drill out the hole in the mag release as it was just a hair undersized. It took all of 30 seconds to do and now I have a very tight and solid mag release. Highly recommended.
