Doesn't fit the Savage Mark II 11/05/2017
I should have read the reviews first. I bought this for my Savage Mark II BTV and it doesn't fit as another reviewer has said.
I plan on keeping it to see if it can be modified but it doesn't work as is. The diameter is correct but it gets hung up on something, I believe the ejector but haven't had time to look as yet.
Not sure what savage rifles this thing is supposed to fit but certainly not the Mark II

I have a new Savage FVT for teaching the Boy Scout Merit Badge Program. I needed a bore guide and ordered this one. It fits great, you just need to pull the trigger to get it all the way in.
